Perfect location to explore North Cornwall
Posted Aug. 3, 2020 on HomeAwayLittle holiday villa in lovely grounds, with access to a swimming pool, a badminton court and a small games room with table tennis, pool, sliders and table football, to keep the young ones entertained. Although some of the facilities were closed due to covid-19, the villa's location is great for nearby supermarkets and shops. We had an enjoyable stay.

Unclean.
Posted Aug. 21, 2018 on HomeAwayEmpty vodka bottle found in bedside cabinet. Sofa cover stained & very uncomfortable. Cobwebs in every room. Dining table poor & wobbly. Needs a good clean. Kitchen well equipped. Such a shame because it could be very nice.

Sorry to hear you found the property dirty.
I really do wish you had contacted me while you were there so any problems could have been put right. The cleaner is usually very reliable and she would have certainly gone back if there were any problems and recleaned etc for you.
I put my contact details on all the details when i send these out so you could have easily phoned, texted or emailed to say you were not happy.
There is little point in waiting until you get back from holiday to leave a poor review. All could have been put right during your stay.
Most of my reviews are positive and many people book again to re-stay - which they would not do if unsuitable.

Beautiful and perfect location to explore East Cornwall
Posted Jun. 11, 2017 on HomeAwayTruly is a beautiful secluded location really close to amazing family days out like Lanhydrock, Hidden Valley, Tintagel and the beaches near Bude. The property is well equipped and cosy, Camelford a mile up the road has a great pub, a well stocked mini market and the best chippy in the world! Our only issue is that it is advertised as having a washing machine, which is important with boys who roll in mud, sand, anything - in reality it has a derelict amenity building to serve many villas which includes a poorly maintained launderette with only one working machine.

I am pleased to hear you had a lovely holiday.
I have checked my advert and it does clearly state under 'washing machine' that there is self service launderette on site. There is a commercial sized washer and a separate commercial drier. No one else has ever mentioned a confusion - we occasionally use the launderette ourselves when we stay and find it conveniently situated right by the car park. I have never known the launderette busy - even in August - as most people seem to take enough for the week.
Pleased that you still had a good stay in the villa - it is proving very popular.

Neat, clean, well equipped little villa.
Posted Apr. 23, 2017 on HomeAwayWe all really enjoyed our stay. The villa was just the right size for us, and is neat and well equipped. "Good things come in small packages " comes to mind!
It was nice and peaceful and such a great location for exploring all the lovely things Cornwall has to offer.
The children felt happy there and have already asked if we can go again!
It was a very relaxing week, thank you.

Posted Sep. 12, 2016 on HomeAwayOur family of 4 stayed for a week during August and found the Villa an ideal location for exploring all that Cornwall had to offer - at an excellent price. The occomodation meet our needs as a family, the children loved the 'little house' and it was comfortable and clean. We found some idilic beaches nearby and particularly liked Harlyn Bay. We braved the water in the Hotels outpool, again the children loved it. We left with happy memories of our first family holiday in Cornwall. All in all .... great location, cosie accommodation and a fantastic price - thank you x

Schönes Apartement in netter Anlage
Posted Aug. 20, 2023 on HomeAwayWir hatten dieses Objekt als zentralen Punkt für unsere Cornwallreise ausgesucht und es war sehr schön.
Das Objekt ist ein kleiner Bungalow in einer Bungalowsiedlung, die gepflegt wirkt.
Bedingt durch das feuchte Wetter in Verbindung mit dem Wassersport muss man zwingend ein paar kleine Grundregeln zum richtigen Lüften beachten.
Die Zimmer waren liebevoll eingerichtet, die Betten sind ok. In der Küche findet man genug Geschirr für 3 Personen.
Ich werde gern wiederkommen.
