White Mountain Orchard House

Welcome to our orchard house! Nestled on 7 acres surrounded by apple trees you'll enjoy spectacular views of the White Mountains from any room in the house. The house features a fully stocked, modern kitchen, open concept living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, family room with sleeper sofa, large wrap around screened in porch, and a game room in the basement (ping-pong, air hockey, foos ball and darts). Comfortably sleeps 6 adults (1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sleeper).

Located in the heart of the White Mountains you’ll find our home is extremely convenient to all of the area treasures. The area is a perfect place for any outdoor enthusiast which offers great skiing and golfing along with many scenic hiking trails, swimming holes, rivers, and lakes. Many people travel here to fish the streams, kayak the rivers, mountain bike, and rock climb. You're also close to area attractions such as Canon Mountain, Waterville Valley, Loon Mountain, Clark’s Trading Post, Whale's Tale Waterpark, The Flume, and The Polar Caves. If you like to shop you can visit the Tanger Outlets in Tilton, Settler's Green in North Conway, or local shops in Campton and Plymouth. Don’t forget the beautiful fall foliage that our mountains offer; stay here and enjoy the color.

Fantastic!

Rustic, relaxing and functional house. Beautiful view on the apple trees and mountains. Perfect for family with teens or 2 couples. Perfect location for national park outdoor activities. We loved it!

Perfect Autumn Getaway

We decided to take a brief getaway for some leaf keeping and found this really perfect spot! If you don't mind being a little remote with nothing but trees, mountains, and stars to look at, then this is the place. Be sure to follow Rene's directions because the last approach is not correct on the gps. The house is very clean and comfortable and has all the essentials you will need. The king bed is pretty comfy too, and that's coming from someone who has great difficulty with firm sleeping surfaces. We had some clouds and rain but when clear, the star gazing is fabulous!

perfect for us

This house was perfect for us. We spent four nights here on our vacation to see colorful fall foliage in New Hampshire. We wanted someplace quiet and private, close to nature attractions, where we could prepare and cook our own meals. This house met our expectations and more. We liked the large main floor with tall ceiling for living room, dining room and kitchen. We loved the rustic woodwork on the upper floor. It reminded both of us of houses from our grandparent’s generation with rough-hewn wood floors and big wood doorways with transoms. One quirk is that both bathrooms are on the second floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thanks, Bob and Linda

Nice property

It was a great house, the owners are very generous with the little extras, like soaps and laundry detergent. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if the opportunity arises. There was an issue with the washing machine and the owner responded quickly to my message. Great experience!

Marvelous, Charming, Great Quiet Location

We love vacationing every year in the White Mountains. This location lets you visit the Franconia Notch and the Crawford Notch in short day trips while enjoying the quiet beauty of West Campton, New Hampshire. The house is a fabulous design. Up the road is the best little local coffee place (Mad River Coffee House) with lots of pastry and happy faces. And plan a meal at the Covered Bridge Farm Table restaurant nearby. You’ll find a covered bridge view, good food, and a surprise on the wall. We'll be coming back here soon I hope. Thanks Renee for providing such a unique location.

Bike week is better

This is the second year in a row that we rented this house in order to be able to travel in and out of Laconia to enjoy bike week. It is perfectly located a distance away from all the action for forcing you to have more ride time along with privacy And quiet at night after a long day of noise. Beautiful views of the mountains to the east every morning for sunrise, perfect amount of space for 4 to 6 people. Nicely upgraded and clean. We will be renting this again next year it’s going to turn into a yearly event.

End of School Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Orchard House. The porch was perfect for relaxing after a long school year. We enjoyed the amazing view and the ability to eat outside on the screened in part of the porch. The house had everything we needed. We saw deer, turkeys and so many fireflies. It was a wonderful getaway!

Beautiful house with an incredible view

We loved staying at this property. It is within easy driving distance to cute restaurants and activities, but feels secluded and private. The house itself is clean and beautifully maintained. The screened in porch is especially lovely!

White Mountain getaway

The house was in a quiet area lined with Apple trees and nice views. The house had a old school feel with some modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend if you like a quiet and peaceful stay. Great “get away” from it all feel.

White Mountains Vacation

My husband and I have stayed at a few different VRBO's and this one has been our absolute favorite. The location was secluded, peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. I love all things farm house this place really spoke to me. It was clean and located close to the highway we used it a common ground to visit with family who where staying at new found lake and in Littleton. (because no one wants to stay with their in-laws and a house full of kids) it was the perfect place to escape to the quite and be left alone. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely and Relaxing Stay

A lovely little place for a relaxing stay! Two bedrooms upstairs with two full baths and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have small window A/C units if it's hot out, while the main floor has no A/C it has a tone of shaded windows that generated plenty of breeze for us. Main floor was plenty for us despite having four straight days of rain, and the deck was deep enough that I could easily sit outside on the porch to get fresh air while also staying completely dry. Kitchen had everything we needed to make and serve meals for the two of us, and would easily have supported meals for 6. Internet was fine, no issues for us even in bad weather! Only thing to be aware of is that the drive in does feature two short stretches of dirt road, but both were in great shape and would be easy in anything short of a very low sports car.

Critters

House is perfect, only reason for cleanliness review is that I had a field mouse run across my foot in the living room which I removed from house! The lawn needs to be mowed way shorter around the house in hopes of lowering the tick count. We never even stepped foot in the house and we had 3 ticks on us. We avoided the grass as much as possible and still had them on us everytime we went from house to auto. We left a day early primarily because of the weather but the mouse and tick’s solidified the decision
