Good overnight stay

Hotel has nice studios with double and single beds, well stocked kitchen, but the bathroom was a bit dated(ceiling). It was a nice touch to provide Kitkats together with milk in the fridge. It is a pity that a body lotion is not provided now in many hotels including this one. Staff was very nice and efficient on check-in. We were lucky to arrive reasonably early to get a parking spot undercover. Parking on site is limited. Selection for continental breakfast was very good including self-made pancakes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great, except we didnt like the mattress, it was too bouncy for 2 people to sleep comfortably on. Maybe we are just used to harder mattressses so not a complaint about the overall experience. The location and price were unbeatable.

Short stay

The room was fine, with adequate kitchen facilites for a short stay. I found the bed too soft but I do prefer a firmer mattress. The kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating which was a pleasant surprise in the middle of the night. The parking was ok, although some of the larger utes and SUVs do overfill their parking spaces. Trams are available right outside the front door. Not sure if the place is double glazed, but didn't get much traffic noise in the room or dinning room.

I have stayed here a few times. Comfortable beds, hot water is hot with good pressure. Staff are approachable and friendly. Handy to shops. Common areas could do with an update is my minor disappointment.
