Ripped up & folded carpets, bugs in room, blinds didn't shut properly so the bright street came into the room all night, shower pressure was very slow & very noisy neighbourhood with drunk people fighting on the street & with Police.

The Tall Trees motel in Ainslee is a hidden little gem close to Dickson (and the tram) It's a old, safe and quiet suburb with lots of greenery (plants, trees, green grass, well maintained properties). The staff are amazing, the facilities are great and they're renovating to make it even better. It's a quiet place for a perfect stay, short or long. I was there with my wife and we are definitely coming back again due to all the factors mentioned above.

I had a very nice stay at Tall Trees Ainslie. I felt welcome and my personal request was happily accommodated. My room was very clean and quiet. I was travelling and needed a good nights rest. I had a very comfortable stay in every way. I left early so didn’t test breakfast.

Parked directly in front of the unit. Loved the unit - clean, tidy and everything you need. Little out of the way in terms of its location but found a little shopping centre that had an IGA so dinner was served from there. Overall - a really great experience.

No problem with parking, there was lots of it unlike other hotels/motels in Canberra. We hadn't stayed at this motel before but found it to be very quiet and convenient for the city center if you have a car and we would stay there again. It was about a 6-7 minute walk from the Anslie shops along beautiful tree lined streets. The reason why I didn't give it full marks was because the hair dryer didn't work and the shower gel was empty which of course was a bit annoying to find out after you had stepped into the shower. This is a very basic motel but it was clean and quiet and my room was large with a microwave and plates plus cutlery I didn't have breakfast at the motel. The best feature is for those who like to take an afternoon walk as it is in a beautiful area of Canberra.
