I checked into to this facility and check in was great everything was done virtually. We walked into our room and the room smelled like raid and there was mold beneath the AC. I left and booked another property the raid smell was strong. Since there is no one at the property I was unable to make a complaint.

The property is beautiful just like the photos. However, I arrived at night and immediately fell into pool near the dining area and entrance and injured myself. The lighting was not good at night inside the Villa and there’s no one to assist if you arrive when I did (10p). The staff was not very accommodating and seemed annoyed to have to serve food and drinks. They charge for water and ice. I repeat, they charge for water and ice. I know it’s México but that’s not good if you actually drink water. They also never seemed to have change which I think is a way of making extra money. The best thing about the place is that people leave you alone. The worst thing about the place is that people leave you alone.

It was located in a very poor area of town. The food was precooked and then heated some of the chicken was still frozen. Two dogs were barking most of the night. It is just not a place that I would feel comfortable recommending.

It is a wonderful property for the price. Food is very good. With the automated system they have there is no way to get water or coffee outside of operating hours.

Wonderful Stay at Villa Palmeras! We had a fantastic experience at Villa Palmeras. Getting there was a breeze—access was super easy, and the shuttle service to the airport made everything so convenient. The food was delicious and the kitchen staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made meals even more enjoyable. The pool was clean and perfect for relaxing, and our room was spotless and very comfortable. It’s a great place to unwind, with excellent service all around. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful stay near the airport with great amenities!

Pleasant surprise

I recently stayed at Villa Palmeras while traveling from Canada to Holbox. We needed a couple of affordable rooms for a night before traveling on the next day. I was a bit concerned during the taxi ride there that I'd made a mistake as the hotel isn't in an area I would expect. However once inside the gates I was immediately relieved to be in a beautiful gardened space that felt like an estate or manor. The rooms and beds were wonderful and clean, the food was good and the service pleasant. It is a bit unusual because accessing the grounds and rooms is all digital with access codes, no keys and there is no traditional front desk with a concierge. However everything I needed or asked for (including an affordable shuttle to and from the airport) was arranged remotely via WhatsApp. I will stay again and would recommend Villa Palmeras for a lay over or if you're traveling by car. It is not near a beach or a shopping district so I wouldn't recommend as a vacation hotel unless you have a car to get around or don't mind taxiing to see the sights of Cancun.

A significantly more private and quiet getaway from the party that is the hotel zone. I got the superior room and got a balcony that faced away from the public amenities where I could dry my bathing suit and towels from the day. They have a home cooked restaurant during the day with moderate pricing and a hammock near the pool to take a nap in. Gated parking, just watch that last speed bump before the villa.
