Charming Country Bunkhouse with 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6. (12 miles from Bryce.)
Cannonville is located under the eastern escarpment of Bryce Canyon National Park. It is off of Scenic Byway 12, just 12 miles past Bryce Canyon. Our area is surrounded by red rock outcroppings. Kodachrome State Park is located 10 miles down our main road in town. The Bunk House includes two queen beds and a bunkbed in about 900 square feet. We include a Pack n Play for babies. The large bathroom includes tub and shower and changing area. The bathroom/dressing room is supplied with plush towels, and other amenities. The beds are comfortable with fresh pressed linens upon your arrival. There is a small kitchenette with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and a sink. The toaster/oven is convenient. A small refrigerator (no freezer) includes water and basic condiments. Fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookies welcome guests to our Country Bunkhouse. There is an available grill if needed outside. (request before arriving) The Country Bunkhouse includes a 55 inch Television screen for TV programs and DVD's, Blue Ray/games as well as a 45â TV in the second bedroom. Several DVD's (family oriented) are included as well as board games/puzzles and children's toys. The Country Bunkhouse has large ceiling fans and a brand new Air Conditioning system. Forced air heating is very efficient. We don't have many extremely hot days and our nights are cool and beautiful. Sleeping with open windows is safe here. However, winter is cold and often snowy. Our night sky is stunning, if you have time to sit on the swing outside to enjoy it. The Grand Staircase Visitors Center is in the center of town near the town park for questions about hikes, weather and places to go. Donât hesitate to ask us (the Scoffieldâs) for any suggestions or for any items you might need.
Very comfortable. We ate out so didnât use kitchenette but it looked stocked. Had to ask for umbrellas and got them right away! Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. Worked well for me and my son.
Cute little cabin, next to a house that's attached by garage. Had what we needed. We appreciate the TV's and they have streaming services that we could log into.
It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The directions provided by host were necessary to find the property since navigation apps sent us to towns on either side of Cannonville. One bedroom is in the front living area which I did not notice in the posting.
Very comfortable, homey place to stay. Had homemade pumpkin bread waiting for us. Nice swing and outdoor area. Main house had fall decorations out. Nice peaceful area.
Very clean and welcoming. Pumpkin spice bread was waiting for us when we got there. There are lots of restaurants close by but it still feels like it is out of town. Very convenient location to Bryce Canyon. Beds were very comfortable. The location is very safe and we slept with the windows open which was great. The only thing I would have changed is I wish there was a couch in the living room instead of a bed, but it was not that big of a deal. Overall, we really liked it!
Wonderful accommodations. Everything we needed was provided for. Very comfortable and close to Bryce Canyon National Park. Highly recommend this rental to anyone coming to the area.
We stayed in cannonville a couple days while passing through Utah. The house was cozy and clean. Easy to find and not too far from tourist attractions and groceries.
We loved our stay at The Bunkhouse! The hosts were wonderful people and the space was perfect for our family of five. The pumpkin bread left for us upon arrival was delicious.
Super cozy. Great spot for family with kids. Had fresh bread and lawn games set out for us. Had everything we needed for a fun visit to Bryce Canyon! Very accommodating and quaint little spot. Close to Tropic which has coffee/pizza/convenience store and gas. Would return and recommend!
Great experience! The hosts had left us home made apple bread and notes, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. Pantry/fridge was stocked with helpful items so it was easy to prepare meals in the kitchenette. Beds were incredibly comfortable (I even noted the brand because I want to get the same for my house). Nice spaces to sit outside as well. Very convenient to Bryce Canyon and Willis Creek slot canyon (a gem - recommend going early). But the best was how helpful, caring and responsive the host was when we had a minor medical emergency.
Cherie was a wonderful host. Pumpkin bread waiting for us, a very well stocked kitchen, a comfortable bed and bedding, great shower. One of the nicer places we have ever stayed.
