Cala Mesquida is a beautiful sandy cove on the east coast of Mallorca. During the season, you can rent loungers and umbrellas on the beach and there is a beach bar. During the winter season, it is the ideal starting point for excursions in the mountains of Llevant, e.g. to the mountain of Son Jaumell. Around it, you will find many dream beaches to explore by car, such as Cala Torta, Cala Agulla or Sa Font de Sa Cala. In Cala Ratjada, about 10 minutes by car, you will find a wide range of supermarkets, restaurants and entertainment. A car is recommended.
The community pool, about a generous 60 m2, is an ideal place to cool off and enjoy the warm Mediterranean climate. With its chlorine-treated water and a depth ranging from 1 to 3.5 meters, both adults and children can have fun as they please. The loungers around the pool offer a perfect space to sunbathe and relax after a day exploring the island.
The apartment itself features a cozy private terrace of approximately 25 square meters, equipped with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the neighborhood and, in the distance, the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Inside, the apartment is designed to offer you comfort and functionality. The open kitchen to the living room is fully equipped with ceramic hob, coffee maker and filter coffee maker, allowing you to prepare delicious home-cooked meals with ease. We were extremely disappointed by this vacation experience as there were 2 major errors in the listing.
3 bedrooms were listed and dishwasher was also listed. Seems that is corrected now.
We NEVER rent without a dishwasher and considering the cost, we were happy to have 3 bedrooms so that our 2 kids would each have their own bedrooms.
We brought this to broker's attention the first day and it took 5+ days to get to a resolution. They finally admitted there was 2 errors in the listing, but they did not accept responsibility instead blaming Abritel and saying that on all other sites they list same apartment only 2 bedrooms are mentioned and no dishwasher is listed. It should not be responsibility of renter to check other sites to confirm listing is correct.
In the end they offered and paid us back 10% of the cost which we consider is insufficient relative to the disappointment we suffered. We asked to leave early and to have full refund for the unused days and they did not accept.
Also, it may matter to some, but the air conditioning units are in the kitchen and in the living room. There is NO air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was challenging to keep the bedrooms cool even with windows and shades closed all day.
The apartment building next door is also very close by and all day you can hear fan noise from their huge outdoor air conditionner on top of the guy cleaning cars with pressure washer at the next door car rental agency often until late in the evening.
