Manatee Retreat Cape Coral Yacht-Club WiFi/Saltwater-Pool/Direct River Access

A private home located in the beautiful SE Cape Coral Yacht Club neighborhood near the end of quiet cul-de-sac, with waterfront homes on both sides of the street. The home has a salt water pool, paver deck, screen cage, large lanai and a pier to tie up your boat. With a tropical backyard and deep water canal, direct sailboat Caloosahatchee river/Gulf access, this is a comfortable place where couples or families and friends will feel relaxed and at home.

This house is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Cable HDTV, (4 smart TVs) Blue Tooth Stereo and free Wi-Fi internet access. A spacious newly remodelled home with family room, den, and kitchen with all stainless appliances and utensils included. Three bedrooms and two full baths with top of the line Serta Mattresses, including one king, two queens, a queen sofa bed with gel foam mattress (in den) and an inflatable queen air mattress for your temporary visitors. The Living room has a separate couch (non-pull out). Each bedroom has its own TV. Plenty of space for up to 6 people in bedrooms along with additional room for another 2 using the pull out sofa and/or inflatable bed. The unit also includes a full size indoor laundry, pool/beach towels, 7 bicycles, fishing poles, and golf clubs in the two car garage.

This home is pet friendly for ONE smaller, non-shedding breeds under 35lbs, (ONE PET MAX) with prior approval and pet fee (no cats).

Easy access to the beach, yacht club, tennis, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are all close by. Downtown Cape Coral is less than 1 mile away. A short 25-30 minute drive will get you to Captiva and Sanibel Islands or Fort Myers Beach. The Yacht club has the only beach in Cape Coral and is a short bicycle ride from the home. The Yacht Club beach has re-opened, however the Boathouse Restaurant, Yacht Clubhouse, boat launch and several amenities are currently closed due to Hurricane Ian Damage and a fire and in the permitting and repbuild process.

Christmas paradise

Perfect location, plenty of bikes for the family, extremely well kept home in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood! Owners were excellent with answering questions, providing recommendations and ensuring our trip went smoothly. House was well stocked with the perfect amount of paper products to get us through as we settled in, complete with a welcome basket of coffee, wine, tissues and Christmas cookies which were a nice seasonal touch!

Perfect Stay

We could not be happier with our stay at Manatee Retreat. Lori was informative with details every step of the way and quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was beautifully decorated and the pool was just amazing. Restaurants were within a short distance and many types to choose from....(we enjoyed all the local Tiki's!) Saturday's farmer's market had a nice variety and again was very close. We also enjoyed the bikes that were available and rode around the quiet neighborhoods for an early morning stroll enjoying the burrowing owls as we went by. Can't say enough about this property and we hope to visit again in the future!

Great place for vacation

Lori ist a really nice host, she is making sure that you feel well during your stay. The house ist fully equiped with all you need. The neighbourhood is nice and very quiet. A good place to come to a rest. I can totally recommend, especially when you are looking for lovely place to calm down.

Another great stay

April Escape

Lori was great to work with, the house is beautifully updated and well maintained throughout my 3 week stay, i.e. pool, grass, etc. Instructions were clear as well. A perfect spot to sit out on the lanai and enjoy morning coffee overlooking the canal and the area was great for a morning walk/run as well! The only bummer is that the beach had not re-opened post Ian (completely out of anyone's control) but, was an easy drive down to Ft. Myer's Beach and Sanibel. I have already booked my stay for next year, I can't wait!

Exceptional!

Thank you so much Lori! We know you and Mark worked so hard to get your home ready for us after the devastation of Ian. Your home is warm and inviting. Stocked with everything we needed and more. The pool was warm and the lanai was used for morning coffee, afternoon snoozes and quiet dinners. We enjoyed cocktails on the dock each evening and watched the sun go down. The location is awesome and close to so many great restaurants. We will be back!

Perfection!

Great Location and the owners were prompt at responding to any questions we had. Peacefull location with lots to do. Close to everything Sanibel and Ft Meyers have to offer. We were able to have a boat delivered and tour the nearby islands and waterways. The pool was a perfect size and the house was clean and well stocked. We even had fresh mangos falling from the big tree out back that we 100% enjoyed. No complaints and we will be back!

EXACTLY as expected!

Perfect location for what we came for, which was baseball tourneys and water time! In the middle of all the cities we were visiting. Great restaurants near by. The house is the type of house that I remember visiting my aunt in, growing up as a child. A typical Florida home with great amenities. Lori was an absolutely fantastic host. She responded quickly and efficiently. We will be back for sure!

Very well maintained home in great location. Close to everything! Well equipped with everything you may need, including an espresso maker. Salt water pool was a favorite and we ate our fill of fresh mangos. Lori was super accommodating and accessible.

Just relax!

What to say about this home that hasn’t been said before. It was beautiful and very comfortable. The living space was open, the beds all perfect, and the house was clean. The kitchen was great for cooking and everything we needed could be found in the cabinets The space was perfect for two couples. The lanai area looked out over the canal and flowers framed the view. The pool was the perfect way to start or end any day. The location of the house was central to the many attractions in this areas, and the neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. Lori was very prompt in answering questions and giving advice. A pleasure to communicate with. If I am visiting Cape Coral, I would definitely stay here again

Cape Coral at it's best.

Very nice home and safe location, friendly neighbors, great pool and lanai with brand new gas grill. Everything you need is there, easy to communicate with owner and property manager easy checkin. The weather was great sun every day and no rain. Everything was just great would recommend.

Perfect vacation

Nice home thats well stocked with linens, towels, and everything you need to dine in should you choose to do so. Home is located on a canal with Gulf access, so we rented a vessel and docked right in the backyard- it doesn't get any better than that! Not only that, but a nice saltwater pool right outside the sliders. There are safety features to keep children out while adults not present, which was a concern for me. Lori is a great host, very responsive to communications. Very easy check-in and checkout. Overall, was happy - would recommend to others and I would return myself.

Our son enjoyed doing some fishing in the canal and our girls loved using the bikes in the garage. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed evening walks with our dog. Lori was very responsive with all communication. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful property - well equipped

The property was lovely. We found it very well equipped from the kitchen pans, utensils, dishes galore to the 6+ pool towels and pool floats/noodles to the puzzles and books to the 2 living areas and 3 eating areas to the great pool and grill. There are also bicycles and beach chairs. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Extra towels and sheets in the linen closet. We couldn't have asked for a better home. The dock was super fun, too. We did excursions daily to Sanibel, Naples, Sarasota, and Fort Meyers. It was nice to have such a quiet and centrally located home to return to each night.

Family vacation!!

This house is amazing it has everything that you need, this is our second time renting it. We bring our children’s bikes with us but they also have bikes in the garage which is great so we can ride with them. My daughter learned how to ride her bike without training wheels this year which was super exciting. We spent a lot of time in the pool, fishing outback and bike riding. The neighbors are super quiet you feel like you have the whole neighborhood to yourself, and on top of all that the homeowners are absolutely amazing. We will definitely rent again.

Cape Coral Family Trip

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back next year! Having a private pool to use was a huge plus for our family! The house has everything you need to make a great trip! We enjoyed bike rides daily, grilling out, and relaxing by the pool. It was nice that the safety fence was up for my curious little ones! Local beaches such as Sanibel and Captiva became an almost daily event as they were just a short 30-45 min away so it was nice to explore all around the area! However, it was nice to have the private house to come back to at the end of the day! Local restaurants we really enjoyed were The Boat House, Pinchers, Nice Guys Pizza and Iguana Mia! All great for families but get there early!
