Your family will be close to everything with this centrally-located home in a part of Cape May that is becoming the new hot spot! 10 mins drive to Cape May beaches, 8 mins to bay beaches, 12 mins to WildWood. In the evening, enjoy Wildwood's lively nightlife and boardwalk, explore everything North Cape May has to offer, or go into Cape May proper for your adventures. Enjoy some of the hottest brand new restaurants 3 minutes from our home--with prices sky rocketing in Cape May proper, this part of Cape May is exploding. No need to go over the bridge on a busy night! Drive 3 minutes to the marina waterfront deck at Port, with mouth-watering food, open-air dining, and summer vibes. Watch the boats go by while you eat. Or dine inside for a quieter, elevated dining experience. We also love the new Mad Viking, another open-air place right on the marina...complete with a viking ship play structure for the kids to play on while you wait for your food! Nauti Distillary is right up the street next to a couple of vineyards, and we love our local ice cream spots! Tisha's sister restaurant is a short drive and you'd be remiss not to dine at Harpoon's on the Bay, catching a beautiful sunset while you eat on the open-air deck. This area has SO much to offer.
We're 1 minute from the marina, 5 mins from historic Washington Street Mall, and a short drive to Sunset Cove. Take a walk in our peaceful neighborhood or sit in the tranquil fenced-in back yard, relaxing in the glow of the party lights. Cycling enthusiast? Ride your bike from our home directly to the Cold Spring Trail--be sure to stop at the Cape May Zoo or historic Cold Spring village as you cycle along this pathway!
Have a rainy day? No problem-- hang out in the game room (darts, basketball, PS4 console, and more), watch some movies, or get quality family time playing board games on our spacious farmhouse-style dining table. Within minutes you can access some of the best breweries and vineyards, A+ restaurants, spas, whale and dolphin watching, water sports (parasailing, paddle boarding, surfing lessons, jet skiing, etc.), yoga on the beach, ghost tours, trolly tours, unique shopping, antiquing, the Wildwood boardwalk, and SO much more! And Cape May is a foodie's delight!
When you arrive, be sure to read through our personally crafted guidebook, which contains over 30 years of tips, information, and area-wide hidden gems!
Our property has three queen beds, one queen-sized futon, one pull-out queen bed, and one set of twin bunks, comfortably sleeping 12. This is a single family home, with 4 bedrooms, two living rooms, two full bathrooms, one outdoor shower, a dining area, a full kitchen, a laundry room, a garage, a fenced-in backyard, and a self-contained game room, which doubles as the 5th bedroom. All TVs are streaming. There is a brand new griddle/grill out back and an OUTDOOR SHOWER to rinse the sand off after those long beach days. We have a sun/lounge area and picnic table outback, which converts to a lovely lounge in the evening once the party lights click on at dusk. Two cars can park in the driveway and street parking is also available.
Please note that linens are not provided for this home (which is typical in the Cape May rental market due to extremely tight and frequent turnovers). If you are unable to pack your own bedsheets and towels, there are local companies who rent them out for any length of time. We provide pillows, comforters, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and dish soap.
There are really SO many little gems in this area that we could never list them all here in this description. We're here to answer any questions you may have and we look forward to sharing our little slice of heaven with you!
