Open the back gate and you find the dog agility park and a kids play park, all next to the new whale-watching platform as part of The Cape’s sustainable living community. Here you will find an EV charger, basketball courts, tennis, and bowls facilities – all part of your backyard experience!

Set in the heart of Cape Paterson, you’re just a short scenic drive to Inverloch and within easy walking distance of everything, beautiful bay and surf beaches (including a dog-friendly stretch, just check the seasons), natural rock pools, and the popular Cape Tavern (widely considered the best spot to eat in the area). The Cape Paterson Life Saving Club is just a five-minute stroll away.

Great location and lovely well equiped house with comfy beds plus extras to make beach time easy. Yard is not big but the set up of living upstairs with a toilet and shower room and separate toilet and bedrooms downstairs, with the detached garage bedroom giving additional privacy, worked well for our group. We all really enjoyed our mini-break and it's a super easy drive to Wonthaggi for all your essentials too.

Hidden gem

A great town house 5min walk to Surf 1 & 2 beaches. Can't afford sea views? Upstairs there's an uninterrupted panorama of sky, dunes and eco-village gardens! Watch sunsets, thunderstorms and galaxies with a G&T from the comfort of the lounge room! Downstairs another lounge room and sleeping for 9 peeps (inc 2xKB!). Value for money and very chill.

Great place to stay, plenty of room. We had a family wedding, and the house was fantastic for photos. The location is great with the dog park and kids playground just out the back gate. The only little thing that would have been handy was a few more hand towels in the bathroom/ toilet

Relax at the Cape

Very tidy and spacious two storey house. (One of two on the property). Great access to the park and an easy walk to the beaches. Well appointed and good facilities. We just needed some comfy chairs for taller people. Would recommend.

Cape Paterson family stay

Lovely property, especially suitable to a family with dogs and kids. Direct access to dog park, and kid's playground and short walk to beautiful beach with dog beach area. Kitchen very well equipped and we also appreciated the games provided. Beds comfy and clean all round. Only thing I didn't realise was that there is only one bathroom/shower. With a big group one bathroom is a bit tricky. There are two toilets. The house is a three bedroom house, with the addition of a studio outside. There is no ensuite to the studio so you do need to go into the house to use the toilet and bathroom.
