We had a semi long stay at the AC, it was wonderful, from the reception staff, to the tour advisors to the in room dining, to the morning breakfast staff, everyone is just wonderful and attentive. They are super polite and caring and helpful beyond normal. Would 100% recommend

Great hotel, while a little away from waterfront, free ferry and hotel shuttle, both easy to use. Great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We had a corner room, facing lions head, lots of room which we loved. They did try to 'upgrade' us to a suite facing the dock but another customer behind us said don't do it, noisy through night and hard to then move from another room. Good tip from their bad experience for us all!!

Very nice hotel. Very reasonably priced. The breakfast provided was excellent. Lunch and dinner available also a nice bar. Close to V & A waterfront (we used Bolt less then $3 one way) for shopping and dinning.

This property is listed as a VC Waterfront hotel. However, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the central VC Waterfront district. It's a nice walk, but the gate to the walkway closed at 8:00 pm so be mindful of this when venturing out. Breakfast was nice and convenient.

While the location looks like it's nearby to attractions, it's actually all fenced off. It becomes a 30 min walk to get to the waterfront. After that 1.5 mile walk, would appreciate water in the lobby. Otherwise, stay was good. Excellent breakfast selection. Decent gym. Rooms spacious and clean. Would stay in the actual waterfront area next time

Our first time staying in South Africa and at the AC by Marriott and we were not at all disappointed. We stayed in a super spacious and cosy room with a gorgeous view of Table Mountain and the surrounding areas of Cape Town. Being right by the waterfront and a 10 minute walk from the Central Business District (CBD) was perfect for us and our adventures. This hotel also has a complementary shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront via bus and riverboat. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and were always available to resolve any issues we might have had (not that we did). A special thanks to Asithanoile, Asekho, Jesse, Shai - Lynne, Martha and David for their consistent help and kindness. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a wide range of food to choose from at the buffet, as well as a menu to order from as well. We were met with an abundance of smiles from Onelisiwe, Asaniko, Lukanyo and Obi, which filled our mornings with joy. Dinner was just as much of a pleasure to walk into and despite our attempts, we couldn't stay away! Nothing else we tried in Cape Town quite compared, the food was so rich in flavour and the service was unmatched. We loved seeing Tandile, Sinoxlo and Bradley and having a laugh. Thank you for being such a pleasure to talk to and for your helpful sightseeing advice! The AC Mariott was exceptionally clean, the facility was well kept and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent providing a wide range of food items to choose from. We had dinner one night at the hotel, and the food was excellent. The only drawback was finding the hotel, missed the road a couple of times. Also offering a shuttle to the V&A waterfront more frequently would be helpful.
