A fantastic stay of two weeks

We rented this appartement with a beautiful sea view in a very safe complex with a great bar and restaurant just down below. Everything that you need (restaurant, supermarket, massage
and of course the beach) in a walking distance. Hout Bay is very central to all the best places in Cape Town. Our host Iona was very nice and helpful; we highly recommend !!!

Amazing Beachfront Townhouse

Our family of 3 loved our stay in this beautiful beachfront townhouse. It was super clean and comfortable with an amazing kitchen. The views from the two balconies are breathtaking and it would be hard to find a better location in Hout Bay. Close to heaps of great restaurants and shops and not too far from some great wineries and hikes. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay. Highly recommend this townhouse!

Schöner Blick auf die Bucht

Der Empfang war freundlich, das Appartement auf zwei Etagen ist perfekt ausgestattet, bietet viel Platz fĂŒr 4 Personen und einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Nebenan befindet sich eine Bar mit freundlichem Personal, leider konnten wir aber deswegen die Fenster nicht öffnen oder auf der Terrasse sitzen, da der unangenehme Geruch von nebenan sofort ins Zimmer zog. Der Standort ist super, mit dem Mietwagen kann man viele TagesausflĂŒge in die schöne Umgebung (Kapstadt, Kap-Region, Weinregion) machen. Vor Ort kann man gut und gĂŒnstig frĂŒhstĂŒcken und essen gehen.

Excellent Property & Host

I stayed in this property with my wife and our six year old son for four nights. The location is excellent being right on the beach with various beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. Super easy to follow instructions and a very nice welcoming upon arrival. Iona was great to deal with. The property was spacious, clean, modern with everything you could want from a self catering apartment, even washing machine/dryer, and a boogie board for the beach! I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. Most definitely 10/10 !! Thank you Iona.

Excellent location for Cape adventures

Iona greeted us warmly and gave us a quick introduction and tour of the unit. The beach condo is a great location for access of sites and activities in the Cape region. As a bonus, Chapman's Peak drive started just beyond the parking lot. The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the quick responses to questions and the secure parking. The hop on hop off bus stop was at the far end of the beach.There are lots of great restaurant options available within walking distance. All the restaurants we went to had gluten free options. We loved waking up in the morning to sound of the surf, enjoying our coffee on the balcony ! (we wondered how people could be swimming in that cold of water at that time of day)

Perfect Beach House

This is our 2nd 10-day stay here. The house is 1 minute's walk from Hout Bay Beach, has views across the bay, is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Communication throughout has been perfect. The host is very friendly and helpful. Secure parking in front of the property and two supermarkets a few minutes' walk away, several good quality local dining options and Chapman's Peak Drive is on the doorstep. Hout Bay Beach itself is long, sandy and surprisingly quiet. It feels like a locals beach, not touristy, maybe 50% dog-walkers. Daily morning and sunset beach walks are a must-do treat. Great breakfasts in the café downstairs and sunset suppers at Dunes just along the beach. The bright lights of Camps Bay and Cape Town 30 mins spectacular drive along the coast, while the Constantia wineries are even closer. For us, the perfect location to relax. We'll be back again for sure.

Wie schon 2017 war Iona eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Das Apartment ein Traum, sehr gepflegt und gerÀumig. Der Ausblick vom Balkon: grandios! Wir hatten erneut eine tolle Zeit in Hout Bay und empfehlen diese Wohnung uneingeschrÀnkt weiter.

Schöne Aussicht und beste Lage

Der Aufenthalt von Zwei Wochen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben Kapstadt und die Umgebung erkundet. Von Hout Bay ist man sehr schnell sowohl in Kapstadt als auch am Kap der guten Hoffnung. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Superb Hout Bay apartment

We loved the apartment. A beautiful well decorated place full of nice touches like back up power to provide lighting, internet and tv during load shedding. The location was excellent, not overlooked, minutes from the beach, close to shops and a selection of bars and restaurants. A great place to stay.
