A great boutique hotel

The staff was amazing; willing to help with transportation arrangements and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect for us to walk in the city center.

Visiting from Canada and stayed here on 2 separate occasions during our time in South Africa. An exceptional stay — the rooms were immaculate and the staff was beyond attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Spent 4 nights at Rouge and had a lovely stay. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. Michel was great with providing ideas of what to do and where to eat. Breakfasts were also fantastic including the serving staff. Watch out for Chris who served up some deadpan humour with your breakfast, too funny !

Warm and welcoming hosts. Breakfast options were varied and all delicious. Room was spacious with all the modern amenities. Highly recommended for comfort, cleanliness, location and so much more.

The Staff was wonderful, very helpful,very nice.They really take an interest in there guests,The way they enter act with there guest you feel like family. The Rooms were Outstanding. There more like Apartments than rooms. Excellent service. I have every intention on staying there again when I return to The Lovely Country of South Africa.

I can't wait to get back to the Rouge!!!

We love this hotel, the staff and accommodations. They addressed our every need, (but we really didn't need anything because they provided wonderful amenities that we didn't even know we needed!!) The proprietors assisted us in navigating around the vicinity specifically and Capetown in general. We will return to Capetown if only to stay at the Rouge one more time. If you don't book here, you will have missed something very special.
