Our stay at The Capitol Mirage was great. The room was big & had a lot of things we didn't even know came with the room. There was a full kitchen & a washer & dryer, that really came in handy, a nice balcony too. Uber pick up is great for right outside the hotel. Table Mountain is only a 10-15 minute Uber ride from here, the Marina area is close by too. It's walking distance, but is an easy taxi ride as well. Basically, the hotel is very centrally located. Breakfast on the roof is a great way to start your day & the views are nice too. We ate at the Cattle Baron restaurant in the hotel & the food was exceptional. We had a table outside & it was a great way to end our trip. When we come back to Cape Town we'll be staying here again!!

AMAZING HOTEL AND EXCELLENT STAFF!!!

From the moment I exited my Uber, to the second I walked out of the door to leave, this hotel and its staff was sheer excellence! The front doorman helped me with my luggage as I arrived, then I was greeted with the warmest and kindest smile by the front desk. The hotel was very clean and our room was modern and well-equipped with everything we needed. I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, but this is by far my favorite so far! We arrived a bit early and they were kind enough to allow us to check in. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of Table Top Mountain. The room was spectacular. From the rainfall shower head to the comfy robe and slippers. It was so convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room as well. However, what made this an excellent stay was the hotel front desk staff. They were always pleasant to speak with and very warm and helpful. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Cape Town. This will be the only hotel I'll book going forward.

Great location, great breakfast

We stayed five nights and this was an amazing experience. The breakfast has a mix of buffet options as well as hot plates you can put in an order for. Very healthy and varied foods to choose from. Room service did our laundry and hung it on a rack. The following day they had folded our clothes and neatly stacked them on the sofa. There are many things to do in the area and the buzzing V&A Waterfront is only around 20 minutes (on a slow and enjoyable walk) from the hotel. The staff was very sweet. The TV did not offer many channels, which was fine with us since we do not watch it that much especially on vacation but this could be slightly improved for those who would like to watch local TV stations. Totally recommend staying there.
