This property was disappointing. We stayed in 3 different rooms in 2 nights. Room 724 had limited lighting and was dark. The AIRCon was broken and there were no USB outlets, so this was difficult for us as foreigners as we had no 220 plugs. We were eventually moved to another executive suite that was a huge improvement, but it definitely complicated our stay at a time when I was feeling ill. We also expected the 11 minute walk to the waterfront area, but it was more like 25 minutes and not an easy walk. Hopefully management will improve some of he executive suites so that others do not have the same experience.

The staff at this hotel are excellent. From Hotel Ops to the F&B team. Subisiswe (Guest relations mgr) , Allistair and Atwell (F&B) and Amelia (front desk) were standouts

Staff is super welcoming & resourceful, Rooms very modern, breakfast had good options. The Bars both on the main floor & rooftop were a vibe & easy to mix/mingle with others. I felt comfortable staying here solo, even extended my stay!

Modern hotel let down by poor service standards

This hotel has a serious problem with staff culture. We encountered numerous problems with staff service levels during our short stay. From staff arguments taking place in front of guests, to being ignored at by both check-in and breakfast staff, to sloppy bartenders and waiters, to the way in which staff address guests. It is clear that staff have not received adequate training and management have failed to inspire staff to perform at their best. We will not be returning to this hotel, which is a shame because this hotel, given the facilities and amenties on offer, has the very real potential to be a premium 4-star property.
