Wonderful place to stay in Victor's Kloof.

Beautiful location, very friendly owners and a great breakfast. Our room was a family delux and had a handy little kitchen with oven, microwave, stove and kettle. Lots of little touches that made us feel welcome, like a selection of books and delicious fruit in the main area, that you can help yourself to. Also ice cubes and wine glasses if you need them for your drinks.

The property is very homely and staffs are very helpful and friendly including the owner. However we quite surprised that there is no AC in the room. So we need to keep the front door open for fresh air. When doing that bugs and houseflies came into the room which is quite annoying. The room is quite well equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, a king bed and 2 single beds. Good for family of 4. Toilets is also very clean and all essentials are there.

Everything about Victorskloof Lodge was above expectation - the location, accommodation and amenities were first class, with the views over Hout Bay a constant source of wonder. The hosts were very accommodating, the staff first class, and the breakfast perfect for setting us all up for the day! Highly recommended all around.

Beautiful location; warm welcome; amazing staff; comfortable bed; well equipped room; superb made-to-order breakfast; restful stay. We were frustrated that the hotel was fully booked when we tried to extend our stay, but managed to go back a few days later. So glad we found this hotel - we had a simply wonderful stay.

Heavenly Accomodation

This was one of the most spectacular places I've ever stayed! I can't say enough about it. When I saw the room and the veranda, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The staff were warm and welcoming and the breakfasts were ample and delicious. It is the only place I would consider staying in Hout Bay.

Très bon séjour, bien placé pour visiter la péninsule, dans un très bon quartier. Beau jardin piscine pour se détendre. Notre chambre donner sur le parking et était un peu sombre mais tous le reste était très bien. La vue au petit déjeuner est incroyable

Sehr nette Begrüßung bei der Ankunft. Das Zimmer lag im Obergeschoss mit direktem Blick auf das Meer. Sehr gute Betten und großes Zimmer. Waren insgesamt frei Tage dort und haben zahlreiche Ausflüge auf den Tafelberg, Cape Point usw unternommen. Alles gut von der Lodge zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Leider war der WLAN-Empfang für eurpäische Verhältnisse sehr schlecht. Ansonsten war es ein toller Aufenthalt. Kommen bestimmt mal wieder...

lodge paisible à Houtbay avec une magnifique vue

Excellent souvenir du Victorskloofe lodge. Le personnel était adorable. La vue de notre chambre et de la terrasse du petit déjeuner était incroyable. Le petit déjeuner était varié et excellent. Notre chambre était grande, très agréable pour une famille. Notre chambre avait une immense terrasse avec transats pour se relaxer et apprécier la vue. Mon avis ne concerne que cette chambre familiale. J’ai cru voir que d’autres chambres n’avaient pas la chance d’être aussi bien placées . S’il devait y avoir des améliorations à faire selon moi, il s’agirait essentiellement de la literie : les lits des enfants grinçaient beaucoup et les oreillers et couettes auraient pu être mieux. Il était également impossible d’obscurcir complètement la chambre, certaines ouvertures n’ayant ni stores ni rideaux. Malgré ces petits détails qui pourraient être améliorés, notre souvenir au Victorkloofe lodge est excellent. Merci à Lilien et Derek pour la qualité de leur accueil.
