The breakfast choices changed almost daily. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Jacie greeted me when I arrived. Had remembered me from a prior visit and really made me feel welcomed. I recommend that other hotels follow their lead.

Mini family vacation while dropping off at SIU. Made a great homebase in Murphysboro, which had good restaurant options and access to Parks. Breakfast was excellent!

New Hotel, excellent condition, cold pool

College tour trip, hotel was great. There's some road noise if you are at the front of the hotel. Easy access, all new, very good breakfast and friendly staff. Same as other guests the pool was freezing cold, we had counted on a nice swim/splash and brought swimsuits, but only managed to stay in for a minute. I hope they re set the temperature that seems to be the only complaint in the reviews.

Very nice, clean and updated. If I were to be picky the only issue was the coffee bar in the room trying to get the service personnel to leave more caffeinated coffee versus the decaffeinated, left notes with tips to no avail. Like I said kind of picky because everything else was very nice.

It was good. Just make sure you know this is Murphysboro and not Carbondale. The 2 holiday inns are about 15-20 mins away from each other, so be careful.
