We arrived tired from a long cycle and had to look at an email to find the code to the door to get in. No person on site after that for 2 hours.... Good location but very basic rooms and high price compared to other nearby properties. We rented relatively last minute and it was one of our few available options....

Not to our taste.

Accommodation not to my taste. Was led to believe it was a small hotel with restaurant but no evening food available even though we asked for it. Style of room was eclectic and functional only. I wanted to move on but partner had done a lot of driving and needed to stop.

Deze accommodatie is fantastisch gelegen aan het grand bassin. Het huis is met veel liefde, kleurrijk ingericht. De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt royaal, opgediend in de prachtige tuin. Er is een prima plek om fietsen te stallen. Kortom: een ideale plek om te overnachten tijdens bv. een fietstocht langs het Canal du Midi.Castelnaudary is een onverwacht mooie stad; een aanrader!

Superbe vue sur le plan d'eau. DĂ©coration agrĂ©able dans la chambre, spacieuse et bouilloire Ă  dispo avec thĂ© et cafĂ©. TrĂšs bonne literie !! Ca change des lits des chaĂźnes hĂŽteliĂšres et des oreillers plats lol Petit dĂ©jeuner a la demande, rien Ă  redire. Seul petit bĂ©mol, il faisait un peu frais dans la chambre. Hotesse accueillante. Bon sĂ©jour dans l'ensemble mĂȘme si je n'ai pas visitĂ© la ville. Dommage car l'emplacement est parfait.

Castelnaudary Ă©tait une des Ă©tapes de notre rando Ă  vĂ©lo entre Agen et Carcassonne. Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© au Grand Bassin (chambres d'hĂŽte) au bord du lac du mĂȘme nom le long du canal du midi. Garage Ă  vĂ©lo fermĂ©, trĂšs bon accueil, maison propre,chambre spacieuse et agrĂ©able, wifi, TV.
