During our recent trip to Cardiff to see Tom Jones perform at Cardiff Castle, we had the pleasure of staying at The Parkgate Hotel for one night. I must say, the experience was nothing short of excellent. The hotel itself was immaculate, with everything spotlessly clean and well presented. For a short stay, it was absolutely perfect—comfortable, welcoming, and ideally located for our evening out. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, and it really made our visit feel special. I couldn't fault The Parkgate Hotel in any way. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It's clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. We will definitely return to The Parkgate Hotel next time we're in the area, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hotel in Cardiff.

The location was perfect—just a short walk from the main attractions. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was delicious. Everything felt well cared for and relaxing. We’ll definitely return on our next visit and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Disappointing stay

Most aspects of the stay at the hotel was as expected and excellent. However our room was very noisy until the early hours as it had an internal window overlooking the bar. I feel this could be mentioned in the room description. We would have chosen another room. Disappointed considering the price of the room, we booked for a good night sleep away, but this wasn’t possible.

The hotel was beautiful and amazing.. we arrived early before checking.. The hotel eas able to accommodate us. The room was beautiful, clean and perfect. The bed was do comfy and soft. Could of stayed there for longer... Staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodated. Beautiful hotel to stay in and highly recommend it. Next time we need to come back and use the Spa
