The hotel is directly across the street from the beach. This place is a little dated but hey, my family of four had a great time. Supposedly they are remodeling next year. Family friendly but need to work on the breakfast

Everyone was super nice there, all staff members had a smile and always said good morning or have a goodnight…anything with manners they were on top of it let’s say! Our room didn’t have an ocean view but that’s ok it was 2 seconds to the beach with an easy crosswalk! The room was clean and ready for us when we got in, you can tell it’s an old building but they up keep it very well I’d say!

This was our first time staying here and we had such a nice time. From checking in and interacting with Fred at the front desk, we found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The star was the proximity to the beach and how easy it was to walk into town. We hardly needed our car while we were there. Great weather made Sept a great time to visit beautiful Carlsbad. We'll be back!
