Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Trailside Retreat"! This home sleeps up to 5 guests.

You won't want to miss this completely renovated gem in Carmel. All new finishes and furnishings fill this attractive home. Great care has been taken to appoint the home with everything guests will need for a comfortable stay.

Located in a lovely Carmel neighborhood close to Highway One and just a short drive to the beach, downtown and all Monterey Peninsula attractions, this home is exactly where you want to be. Easy day trips to all central California Coast attractions from the natural wonders of Big Sur to the big city life of San Francisco are possible from this home. Nearby, check out tours of Carmel Valley's wineries, numerous golfing options, world-class restaurants, galleries and boutiques. This is the perfect location for attending Monterey Car Week, the Carmel Bach Festival, AT&T Pro-Am and other special events.

Living Space
Step through the wooden gate into the enclosed front yard and approach the front door. A courtyard-style patio welcomes guests with the sound of a trickling water fountain.
Inside, this 2,093 sf split level home has room for everyone. The open-concept living spaces feel airy and spacious with wood floors and vaulted ceilings. The living area has a sectional sofa, gas fireplace and large flat screen TV.

Kitchen and Dining
The immaculate chef's kitchen is well-equipped to create memorable meals. This kitchen is graced by attractive finishes, plenty of storage, a casual coffee bar and stainless steel appliances. The large center island with stools is a wonderful place to gather for casual meals and chats with the chef; the adjacent dining table is perfect for sit-down meals and games. Just outside on the private front patio is a BBQ grill and additional seating.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs:
Bedroom #1 has a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a standing shower and a separate soaking tub.
Downstairs:
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has a twin bed.
The downstairs bathroom has a shower-over-tub combination.

A full size washer and dryer are on hand, located upstairs near Bedroom #1.

The one car garage is available for guest parking and another off-street space is in the driveway. Street parking is limited.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This home is hands down one of the best - gorgeous stylish decor, great floor plan, killer kitchen that is fully stocked. Plus a wonderful shower, superior amenities, a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave. The fully enclosed yard was wonderful for our little dog. The location, although close to Hwy 1 for easy access, wasn't impacted by road noise which was typically in the morning and never an annoying level in or out of the house. It's actually a desirable location with easy access to other areas and out of the downtown Carmel congestion. This property is a winner without a doubt! We will return!!!

Reviewer Comments: The home has a wonderful location near Carmel and California 1.The owner sent us a breakfast one morning which was thoughtful and very nice. The home is clean well stocked and the yard is lovely.That said we felt it was overpriced for the inside .It was a strange set up . You walk in and the family room and kitchen are on that level but no bathroom. Downstairs were two bedrooms and a bath and upstairs the bedroom room suite and a bathroom. No screens on the windows except for three and it was hot for about 8 days , high 80’s . The place had fans but it was still hot . The appliances were nice but versions of high end appliances that didn’t work like high end appliances especially the stove.All in all it was ok maybe a C rating but overpriced in our opinion.The property company did a wonderful job with our questions and actually there was a sheet explaining everything in the home by the owner that was really helpful.
