Avis pour Reflections Lakeview By Tahoe Getaways - Hot Tub & Buoy, Dog OK
Place was warm and inviting. Beautiful views and close to attractions. Only ding would be there was not a working vacuum cleaner to tidy up around the living room and kitchen area. The host were very responsive with our questions.
The house was nice and clean. The hot tub was not. The private 'little park' across the street was very enjoyable. It would have been helpful to receive checkout instructions by text as well as by email, since I did not have email access and therefore did not receive checkout instructions until I returned home. (The hot tub did get serviced while we were there, but only after we emphasized several times that it was not useable when we arrived.)
Dust under and on all furniture, stains on towels, mouse trap, porch never cleaned, lawn overgrown, bird poop all over outside seating.False information and overall misleading listing. The view is not from the main property, you have to walk along a large road with a speed limit of 45mph. Very unsafe for kids. Thereâs almost no view from the property since thereâs a large property in front. The entrance to the lake is also bad as the stairs are too short. There is no firepit which was listed. They removed it from listing after we asked about it and then tried to gaslight us into saying it was never there. There are also not enough chairs to sit outside with more than 4 people. You have to divide over a dirty picknick bench and some other chairs with bird poop.Showers were bad. Thereâs only two of which one leaks everywhere and makes the whole room wet. The other makes a loud whistling sound and itâs also extremely short. Anyone taller than 5â6 will have to crouch.
The property is beautiful and there was tons of space for 6 adults, two 1 year olds and a 10 month old baby! Everyone was comfortable in their rooms and communal spaces! The only thing that was disappointing was the private beach. It was a little misleading because while you did have a spot on the water 25 yards from the driveway (it was super close
.... a 30 second walk max!) It wasn't really a "beach" in the sense that you had sand leading up to the water. It was all rocks and you couldn't enter the water easily and had to climb in and out of the water. To most this is probably not an issue because with careful navigation and water shoes you could climb the rocks and get into the water with some caution, but with 3 babies under 2 years old we couldn't access the water safely. The deck attached to the house however did prove to be perfect for babies because it was fenced in for bears!
What a dream space! The property manager was so attentive to our needs on the front end of check in.
The kitchen was a well-equipped, gourmet, heartbeat of the home where the five of us (all adults) cooked, snacked and cleaned together. We loved the views of the stars over the lake from the super comfy chairs with cozy provided blankets on the back deck and from the hot tub. Each bedroom was decorated beautifully and the "courtyard" between the separate garage and home behind it was like a private oasis. Plenty of outdoor & indoor spaces for conversations, a large TV for watching weekend football (or whatever). This luxury home presents as well thought out for luxury.
