Lovely home but some areas need improvement

This home is a lovely home that you can tell was put together with care. However, the realty company needs to take more care in ensuring the cleanliness of the home. The floors were not visibly dirty but they felt sticky and our feet were dirty after a short time of walking around. The outdoor space was unkept and the plants were overgrown. The furniture outside was left in a messy state and the outdoor space was full of spiderwebs. As mentioned in other reviews, the realty company that manages this place does not provide basic toiletries that are expected at most accomodations. We had to go buy basic necessities like hand soap and dish detergent. This was not a good use of our vacation time. It would have been nice to know this before renting the place and not after. Also, the towels provided were not great. Some had stains or holes in them. They were pretty rough and considering the money charged to rent this place the realty company should take more care with what is provided and its state. The home is close to the water and the views were great. The front of the house faces the marsh and the sunsets were beautiful. There are lots of balconies and areas to hang out in. The closest beach access is closed so there is a bit of a longer walk but overall we were happy with the location.

Perfect Location. Private House at the End of the Island.

This house was wonderful for a group of 6 adults. There were three bedrooms. Each had a bathroom. The house was fully renovated, granite countertops and new appliances. Each bedroom had its own balcony. Rooftop balcony was perfect to watch the sunset. We could see the ocean from the rooftop. Parking fit about 3 cars in the driveway. The walking distance from the beach was a little farther than expected but it wasn’t an issue, 10 mins max. We loved how the house was at the end of the island. Therefore it was quiet and very private. We definitely will be staying here in the future. The boardwalk was only about an 8 minute drive.

Holiday vacation

What a fantastic place to enjoy the beach!

Our family of 6 (ages 12-19) had a fantastic week in this beautiful home! Immaculate and we enjoyed the views from the rooftop and all the extra space for us and our dogs! Super close to the beach and one of the best rentals we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back at some point!

Our Winter Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay! We stayed 7 nights during February. 3 adults and our dog! Overall great place to stay! A huge thing for us when staying somewhere is the comfort of the beds! These were definitely on the firm side and we brought our own pillows. Master suite was nice and great bath/shower! The yard is fenced in and private, you don’t share it with the other unit. The hot tub and grill are in the same area of the backyard and not separated. Hot tub was nice, but it did have mold growing in the stagnant water that was separated from the main tub. It did have a wide assortment of cookware, but needed to be washed again prior to use. Dishwasher did not really clean dishes, had to clean by hand, which wasn’t a huge deal for us. Elevator was a great asset! Especially with groceries and luggage. The elevator goes from the ground level (garage area), to the first floor where the bedrooms are and then to the next floor where the main living/kitchen area. Does not go to the very top floor. Only 3 actual bedrooms. I think the “4 bedroom” is the sleeper sofa on the very top floor which is like a sunroom with access to the roof. Great places to eat in Carolina Beach! Overall we absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again!

The property was walking distance to the beach, you could see the beach from the decks/patios and it had very clean, easy to use hot tub. The house was very clean and was very easy to reach the manger if I had any questions. The elevator was so convenient for my mom who had knee issues. Great place to stay.
