The Sea Shack is a charming Carolina Beach cottage located in heart of Pleasure Island. Across street from beach, easy parking for 4 vehicles. This home is perfect vacation spot for up to 6. The Sea Shack has been highly rated, especially by families with younger children for ease of accessing beach/fenced backyard! Sit back relax with family/friends as you enjoy all that Pleasure Island has to offer. **The Sea Shack is located in a quiet residential area with a "no party/event" policy. All guests must have prior approval.**
Cottage provides PERFECT destination for families/couples looking for place to "get away" from our "virtual" worlds. Walks on beach are quite therapeutic! Access to island greenway for walking/biking. PLEASE NOTE NO PETS ALLOWED as a courtesy to our guests with allergies. MIN. AGE FOR BOOKING 25 (must be present during stay)

Great stay at the Sea Shack!

The owners were so communicative and welcoming. The cottage is adorable and the location is great. Check-in was easy and we had no issues. Definitely recommend for anyone needing a place to stay in Carolina Beach!

The location was perfect, 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Outside shower was very convenient to ensure sand/debris from the beach was washed off before entering the house. The real plus to our stay was the quietness of the neighborhood and the perfectly working air conditioning. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future. Perfect spot for a girls weekend.

Absolute adorable house right across the street from a gorgeous well maintained beach. We spent 5 days here celebrating my daughter graduating college. We love the comforts of home when we travel and this house has it all. Very clean, well managed, and had everything you need to cook, but if you wanted to go grab a bite it’s within walking distance or a short drive to so many yummy restaurants, shops, ice cream spots you name it. Cute little area for a walk or jog. So much to do but if you want to just hang at the beach they provided beach chairs and an outside shower to get the sand off after fun day of body surfing. Honestly I could of stayed here all summer. Such a perfect spot. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything, I mean everything is what Delaine and Larry thought of! Well appointed kitchen- tools, pans/pots, plates, spices! Well stocked paper products, bath towels, sheets, extra blankets even hangers! Plentiful parking, board games, comfy seating both indoors and out. Charming, well coming, joyful- WE FELT SO PAMPERED!

I stayed here with my husband and three small kids for a week. We loved the cute little house, the convenience to the beach, and the entire stay. This house is just minutes from any store/restaurant in Carolina Beach and only 10 minutes from the Aquarium.

An amazing family-friendly stay steps from the beach

It's hard to overstate how much we enjoyed our stay here. The house was meticulously clean and well-appointed, with nice little touches like having fresh kitchen towels and sponges ready for us. The layout of the house makes the house seem much bigger than it is, and it was great to have the dedicated dining space for the kids. The shower out back and clothesline for drying were perfect for when you get back from the beach, which you'll go to a lot! You could hardly be closer, with a public entrance across the street. That stretch of beach was never unpleasantly crowded, even on a beautiful Saturday. Most people wouldn't walk to either Carolina Beach Boardwalk or Kure Pier from there, but both are just a very short drive away, along with the Aquarium, Fort Fisher, and the State Park. The check-in code worked with no troubles and everything in the apartment was in good repair. The grill even seemed brand new. This will definitely be our go-to spot for our next trip to Carolina Beach!

Great location and excellent condition! One minute walk to the beach! Definitely the cleanest place we have ever rented! Layout was perfect for our needs with twin beds for our grandsons directly across from another guest room for grandparents!Well appointed with all necessities and more! Outdoor shower was awesome for sand removal and grandsons loved it!All contact was timely, friendly, and welcoming . Best communication we have ever experienced .

This was a good find. The cottage was clean and had two sizable bedrooms with two bathrooms (which is a must for parents with an 18 year-old son). Excellent location. Very close to the beach and walkable to Carolina Beach restaurants. Pretty well equipped kitchen. Just enough space to spread out.

Great little house!

Great house in a great location! Large yard we used for family games & patio area for gathering/chatting. Very short walk to the beach, which was perfect. Delaine & Larry were very helpful & responded quickly to any questions. Ate at Michaels & The Tikki bar, both had good food & Service. Played miniature golf at Shipwreck Neon miniature golf, which was fun on a rainy day. Perfect place to stay!

This property is in a great location, is clean, well maintained, nicely stocked, and owners have thought of everything to make a comfortable, convenient stay. All contact was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Delaine and Larry have made it their mission to assure your stay is a great one! From the great air conditioning, convenient lay-out, comfortable beds, well planned and stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, to the outdoor shower.....everything was set up for a wonderful stay! Layout of home and location were superb. Communication with homeowners was prompt and courteous. Very clean, we had everything we needed. Adequate toilet paper and paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, towels; plenty of parking; outdoor space and seating was great - we ate at the picnic table in the shade each evening; grill was nice addition to space. Outdoor hose and shower at the back door helped with cleanliness. Air conditioner was excellent -even at a 72 degree setting, it was plenty cool.
