The Yellow Submarine

The Yellow Submarine is great place to "live" for a few days! Relax at this updated vintage beach cottage. Great location - beach access a few blocks at the end of the street. 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella come daily from 10 to 5 thru the end of September for your use during your stay. Beautifully tiled bathroom. Cozy living room. Yard is treated for mosquitoes! Park your car when you arrive since the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, boardwalk are so close! Come stay awhile, you will love it!

Great location if you have kids - super close to the beach and the park! The house was super cute, just wish the yard was fully fenced in. It is an older house and the plumbing did have issues during our stay, but the hosts had a plumber out to fix it almost immediately. Our only complaint was the excessive amount of mosquitos - we got eaten alive anytime we left the house. We would stay here again!

Yellow Submarine

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s an amazing location that’s within walking distance to many things. The host was very responsive and communicated well. It was so nice to have a stocked coffee bar and other essentials in case you forgot yours at home. We would definitely stay here again in the future when visiting Carolina Beach.

Wonderful family vacation at the Yellow Submarine

Our family of 5 had a great 4 night stay at the Yellow Submarine. We loved that we could walk to the beach and boardwalk in just a few minutes. Having 2 chairs and an umbrella set up for us everyday at the beach was incredible! We also loved that there was an outdoor shower at the house so we didn't have to track sand inside. The house itself was great and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved having 3 bedrooms for our family. The dining area was a bit tight for us, as one of the kids had to eat at the coffee table, but we didn't mind. Our only issue was that we wished the place could have been cleaner. When we arrived there was a lot of pet hair. We contacted the owner who sent the cleaner back the next day to sweep the floors again. We really appreciated the quick response, however we were still finding pet hair on the couch and some surfaces. In our opinion the whole house needed to be deep cleaned in general. But we would still stay here again in the future because of the space and location.
