Beach trip at La Cabana

This is very nice condo, very clean and nicely decorated. It was actually nicer than I thought! The neighborhood is quiet and the complex is well taken care of. The condo has a lot of nice touches including beach gear, games and books. My husband and I traveled with our adult son, who slept on a fold out couch. We enjoyed the patio area outside for coffee in the morning. It’s an easy walk to the beach, which is where we spent most of our time. It was very enjoyable.

Spring Break Fun

It was the perfect spot for our family and definitely affordable. It is a very close walk to the beach and downtown. The property felt clean, it was also quiet at night and it being a downstairs unit was a plus. The kids also enjoyed the pool. I would definitely stay again as Carpinteria is our favorite place to be.

Perfect Carpinteria location

Loved our stay, everything was clean, and tons of supplies in the apartment. The apartment complex has the friendliest neighbors too! A block walk to the beach. There is no A/C so it gets a little stuffy in the unit. But just open the windows and a great breeze comes thru. Super easy check-in and the complex is very safe. Will definitely stay here again.

What an awesome place!

My 3 kiddos and I had such a great vacation! The chairs, bogeyboards, and umbrellas were very much appreciated for our long days at the beach. We would walk the very short distance to the beach for the day, then walk to dinner at one of the restaurants nearby. It was a wonderful reset before school starts!

Lovely stay right by the beach

Property as advertised. Nice complex, quiet, so close to the sand, easy parking, pool fairly warm. Unit slept 2 adults in the bed and a kid in each pull out. Would happily stay again.

We had a great time. Nice for a beach get away. Only complaint is that you listed pool, but pool was way too cold for our kids to swim in. We never saw anyone in the community use the pool in the week we were there.

Overall nice but disappointed with broken window shades

My daughter and I stayed here and it was unsettling knowing anyone walking by could see us- especially at night when lights were on. The first night we arrived there were 4 people standing right outside the window talking for what seemed like hours. I had to turn off the living room and kitchen lights and retrieve to the bedroom with my daughter, where there is no TV, until they left. The owner, a very nice man, said the shades were supposed to have been fixed so he was aware of the problem but didn't ensure it was resolved before our arrival. He said we could jimmy the shades but there wasn't anything to jimmy- one window literally had no covering and the other one had about 1 foot of missing shade on the top. I found some sheets in the closets that I used to somewhat cover the windows but it was impossible to cover the entire area. I was very disturbed about this that we ended up leaving one day early. The location is great and it is a quaint little town but for two females traveling alone it just wasn't a pleasant experience.

Perfect location within walking distance of the beach, you can hear the ocean with the windows opened, and felt very safe the whole time. Pull out mattresses were a bit uncomfortable but still fit 4 people easily. Clean and accommodating.

Paradise at La Cabana

Our condo was lovely with all the amenities. The kitchen was well equipped with a wonderful open area and living room. Extremely comfortable, clean, and cozy. You can hear the ocean at night with your bedroom window open - so delightful and relaxing. The beach is a few steps away. Watched the sunsets each evening. Enjoyed walks on the beach. Great restaurants and shopping just a short walk away. Everything is convenient. People in the condo complex are friendly. Robert the host is wonderful and friendly. He is welcoming and there to meet any of your needs. Staying at La Cabana was like walking into paradise for 2.5 months. We will definitely be back.
