Beautiful apartment with Panoramic Sea Views, internet access via Wi-Fi, tiled floor, furnished to a high standard and includes a water filter saving on bottled water costs, sleeps up to 4 people, 1 Twin Room, 1 Double Room, TV, Air Conditioning, barbecue and large terrace. Fantastic relaxing holiday by the pool or at the beach with great restaurants, golf courses and historical areas to enjoy with a must planned day out to the historical city of Cartagena. Scuba diving, cafes and bars are also available from Puerto De Mazzarron which is only 10 minutes drive away as are more amazing beaches and boat/bus tours, there is also cave diving for the more adventurous.

Wonderful View and apartment.
We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Would like to stay again for a longer spell, Isla Plana is a wonderful little place. The AC worked well, security was good, access to the swimming pool was sorted after two days. Kitchen needs a few new bits and bobs, sharp knifes etc, but overall more than good.

Perfect holiday
We loved staying at this apartment, the garden is the best in the area which we relaxed in all the time and the local manager of the apartment was extremely helpful, a big thank you to Mark for all his help as nothing was too much trouble for him. The views from the apartment are not obscured at all and are beautiful. The beautiful sandy beach is only a 5 minute walk away along with shops and places to eat including the local spa so you can cook in the apartment if you wish and sit on the balcony or the garden and enjoy the BBQ. If you want to travel to the port there are many more beaches and things to do, many places to eat but you need a car or a taxi for that as its about 10 minute drive but well worth it. Can't wait to go again.

Great apartment, huge outdoor space, great garden furniture to enjoy the space. Great views.
Lee is a great host, replies quickly to enquiries, really wants everyone to enjoy his apartment, and very friendly. Mark who looks after the apartment in Isla plana is very helpful, and a really nice guy too. We loved Isla plana village, and had already spent 2 months there before we rented Lee's apartment. Apartment has everything for a long or short stay, plenty of space, location means fabulous views of the mountains, sea, village and beyond, we spent most days watching cruise ships, fishing boats, eagles, unknown birds, around the area, binoculars essential to get the full experience! Apartment was as described, nice and clean on arrival, great shower, loved the pull out settee to chill out on in the cooler evening's, and despite being in Spain the Android box was essential in the winter months, my other half is football mad so using Mobdro app on Lee's Android box meant he didn't miss a game! Would recommend renting this apartment, get sun even in the winter months, though does disappear early, imagine in summer would be a real suntrap in the huge garden. Only 10-15 minutes walk into Isla plana village, where there are some great restaurants and bars, and a beautiful beach, lots of walks nearby. Plus the locals are very friendly, and appreciate the effort with a bit of Spanish. Would probably say a car is needed when in that area. We would definitely return and rent again from Lee if in the area. Fab stay.

La casa de los horrolores
Llegamos un poco antes de tiempo (alentados por el correo en el que comenta que puede estar disponible sobre la hora de comer), tal vez por esto, encontramos un nivel de limpieza apenas aceptable. Lo primero que detectamos fue un olor horrible nada más entrar que salía del aire acondicionado. Esta peste se mantuvo durante toda nuestra estancia y es la principal causa de la mala valoración. Este olor existía siempre y se acentúa aún más cuando pones el aire acondicionado (algo absolutamente necesario en agosto). En cuanto a la limpieza que comentábamos, muy mejorable, en vajilla, encimeras, armarios... Una de las bandejas del horno estaba absolutamente grasienta, las sábanas con manchas, restos de vidrio al lado del frigo,etc. Como colofón, encontramos hasta 4 cucarachas a lo largo de nuestra estancia, todas ellas muertas lo que nos hace suponer que el encargado conoce el problema y usa veneno de efecto residual. No sé si éste problema estará relacionado con el del olor del AC. Una pena, porque aparte de todo esto, el alojamiento es genial, la piscina estaba muy poco ocupada siempre y el agua está muy limpia (aunque el césped está un poco descuidado), la zona, si bien un poco alejada del núcleo de población, no ha sido un problema para nosotros que valoramos más la tranquilidad de esta lejanía. Tristemente, la mitad de la terraza de la casa no es usable por el comentado olor, y la otra mitad no tiene luz por la noche ni enchufes, aunque improvisamos una lámpara con la que la pudimos aprovechar. Muy recomendable si solucionan el problema del olor y la limpieza, a evitar de lo contrario.
