From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special — not only because of the stunning home, but because of the remarkable team who made our stay unforgettable during the week of our son’s wedding.The house itself is exquisite — elegant, luxurious, and beautifully designed — but what truly sets Casa Clotilde apart is its people.The manager served as a gracious master of ceremonies, orchestrating every detail with ease and ensuring each day unfolded seamlessly. His warmth and professionalism allowed us to fully enjoy such a meaningful family celebration.The chef was exceptional. Each breakfast was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. On our first evening, he created a classic Cartagena welcome dinner for our future in-laws that was refined, authentic, and absolutely delicious.Our butler anticipated every need with quiet grace, always attentive yet never intrusive.And our housekeeper kept every room pristine while bringing warmth and kindness that made the house feel like home.Casa Clotilde is far more than a luxury property — it’s an experience. This house is in an excellent location on a quiet street near the center of the colorful Getsemani neighborhood. The house itself is well designed and very tastefully decorated. There are several pleasant spaces within the house to relax, including a dining room adjacent to an open-air garden, elegant sitting room, and rooftop pool area. The butler and maid were very friendly and continually anticipated the needs of our family. The house manager, Gustavo, has 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and greatly enhanced our stay. In particular, Gustavo worked hard to accommodate a very challenging special request prior to our arrival and was very responsive to every request for assistance throughout our stay. In addition, Gustavo provided our family with a lot of valuable information and recommendations. The message therapist, Vanessa, is excellent. In summary, our family travels extensively, and we agree that our stay in this house was among our top vacation experiences.

Beautiful home with very nicely appointed guest rooms. The neighbourhood was festive and central with lots of great restaurants and bars. A/C worked well and the non-air conditioned spaces were naturally cooled by the design of the house. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Daniela was very helpful in advance of arrival and was a welcome face at the airport. Ephram was extremely diligent and responsive - keeping the house in perfect order at all times. While the staff made every effort to accommodate us, we would have liked to have had mini-fridges int the bedrooms. The staff made a shelf in the kitchen fridge available for us, but it was awkward. Mini fridges for personal use it would have been appreciated. We also had a small billing issue upon check out. It was resolved, but did require some back and forth. All in all though a great stay. Id happily refer friends or family to Casa Cleotilde.

Exquisite Cartagena Luxury

The pictures of the property simply do not the location justice. It is absolutely exquisite and impressive! Modern and mindful in design. The location is invigorating in the art district filled with festive narrow streets. A beautiful house in the heart of the artistic ancient city. We spent 6 nights and enjoyed every minute in comfort. The STAFF was AMAZING. They were the heart of the property. Rafael spoke perfect English and arranged for all our tours and services. He went above and beyond at every turn. Richard the chef was delightful. He made us breakfast each morning. We hired him to cook us a few dinners and lunch. Frankly -- the BEST food on the trip. Sandra was our favorite -- she waited on us like family. Adorable. Anna kept everything clean on a daily basis. We wanted for nothing. The had much fun communicating with the translator apps. Although the house is beyond amazing, you choose this property for the wonderfully gracious staff. An exquisite, intimate, private, luxurious hotel. PERFECT for our first time visit to Cartagena.

Unbelievable!!!

First of all, you know when you get to a place and as great as you think it looked online it just doesn’t hold a candle to how much more beautiful it is in real life? Well, this is one of those places. Just so comfortable and everything had a relaxing charm and beauty and comfort. Was perfect to come back to after exploring the city! Diffeeent areas to sit and read, chill by the pool or simply relax in bed! And the staff!!! Warm, thoughtful, reading your kind as to your every wish before you even could think! Late at night being offered some warm fresh tea before I could even ask for it. Sincere and genuine hospitality. Should be sharing way more for this kind of place and staffing and location. Just fabulous!!!

The kids couldn't get enough of the pool – it was perfect for cooling off in the Cartagena heat, and the privacy of the property made it feel like our own little oasis. We felt completely safe for the entire duration of our stay, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. The rooms were exceptionally clean, air-conditioned, and the beds were firm yet incredibly comfortable – exactly what we needed after long days of exploring the city. The staff went above and beyond. They were attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with the chef customizing meals exactly to our liking – a truly personal touch that made the experience even more special. Transportation to and from the airport was seamless, which added to the stress-free nature of our trip. Plus, the location couldn't have been better! Being right in the heart of the walled city, we had easy access to all the best sights and attractions.
