From the moment we arrived at the lodge we totally relaxed.
From the moment we arrived at the lodge we totally relaxed. Beautiful location. So peaceful. The lodge has been crafted with love and attention to every last detail. Everything you could possibly need is provided. We had four wonderfully chilled days at Glenkens lodge. We we're fortunate to have some lovely sunny days which we spent on the porch enjoying the fantastic views. My husband got some amazing photos of the stars on our second night. Merle is a warm welcoming host and her lemon drizzle cake was delicious. All the little extras from the flowers tea and coffee milk in the fridge, made our stay so enjoyable. I really can recommend Glenkens lodge to get away from it all . If peace and tranquility is what your looking for this lodge is definitely for you!! Lots of nice places to eat close by. Highly recommend the Clachan Inn in St John's of Dalry. We have stayed in lots of properties over the years and this little gem is definitely one of the best we've found. Can't Wait for our next vist.
