Good value for money budget motel.

Basic motel, fine for a 2 night stop in Castlemane. Sofa a bit shabby. Bed was OK, shower was good. Some traffic noise but not enough to be a problem. Garden/pool does not look anything like the photo. Pool looked a bit run down and was closed. Overall good value for money but a budget motel.

This would have to be the worst accommodation we have stayed in. Booked in for 3 nights but only stayed one. When we arrived there was no one at reception. Rang bell and noone answered so called number on door as stated. Guy answered and said he'd be there in 5mins as had to run into town to grab some lunch. Room was just horrible. Huge crack in the wall, old bathroom and shower just had a curtain. TV didn't work. Pool was closed and appeared to have been that way for months. Bed coverlet appeared dirty however sheets appeared clean. No free toiletries provided. Toaster and kettle provided but no plates. Would never recommend this hotel or stay there again. As I said, only stayed one night as could not stay after that.

Apologies for the way you feel about your stay. Reception is very rarely unattended, as it was on that day apologies for the short wait. I believe you booked a budget/standard room, which is the most affordable room at our property and it does state that is "standard". Pool is open and tv works in each room, regular maintenance is conducted. Linen is cleaned regularly and maintained for our guests comfort, toiletries are provided in each room as a standard amenity. Additional cutlery/dishes can be requested for at reception and we are happy to provide. Apologies you found your stay unsatisfactory.

nice clean room and bathroom, but the beds were hard, the pool was nice but the spa button didnt work, the grass area was nice but no where to sit there, so it needs another table and seat set on this area next to the pool
