BEACHFRONT Property with Room for Everyone

“Sea La Vie” is a beautifully updated property with room for everyone just STEPS away from the beach. Enjoy the gorgeous views and peaceful atmosphere. This home is located in a gated community packed with many amenities. This home boasts four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Three bedrooms have a king size bed in each room. The fourth bedroom has a full bed along with a twin over full bunk bed that kids will love.

The house features a full coffee bar, BBQ, washer/dryer, and stocked kitchen. There are also plenty of toys, beach gear, books and games for all ages. Relax on the front or back patio, or take a walk down the beach and soak up the ocean air. Great spot for seasonal whale watching and keep an eye out for other sea life all year long!

Perfect location to enjoy many wonderful spots in the area. Head north on Highway 1 and grab a meal at The Whole Enchilada or other restaurants in Moss Landing. Keep heading north towards Santa Cruz and Capitola. Phil's Fish Market in Castroville is also nearby! Grab your golf clubs and head south on Highway 1 to Pebble Beach or any other of the world class golf courses in the area. The Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row is an easy 20 minute drive. A few minutes further south you will find Carmel-by-the-Sea, a lovely spot packed with excellent shopping, art and dining. This beautiful area of the California coast offers something for everyone and every age. Flying in from out of state? The Monterey Regional Airport is a 20 minute drive away and the San Jose International Airport is about an hour away. No matter what brings you here, we are confident that you will enjoy every moment of your stay!

Very comfortable home, well appointed, for extended family with all ages; easy walk to the beach; lovely pathways if you don’t want to get all sandy; perfect for cooking, grilling, hanging out playing games, watching movies, general family time. Easy access to Phil‘s fish house in Castroville, to Monterey Bay aquarium, and to Santa Cruz- perfect location, very peaceful, very safe gated community; nice tennis courts, pickle ball, pool and hot tub in community center. Very comfortable house. The owners have thought of everything you might need.

A week of Senior enjoyment

The 5 day stay at SeaLaVie in Monterey Dunes was a pleasure for all 5 of our active seniors. The accommodations were excellent; the views of Monterey Bay were wonderful; and the walks on the beach a pleasure. Our hostess, Gina, was an excellent communicator and responded quickly to all of my inquiries from the day we rented the home to the day of departure. Thanks from the five of us for a delightful stay.

HEAVEN. WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE

This was heaven. It was outside the budget we set, and so worth it. The location is amazing--it was central to things we wanted to do, but we liked the beach so much we, especially the kids, barely wanted to leave (remember this is a northern California beach, so chilly unless it's heart of summer). This long stretch of beach surrounded by pristine dunes was almost secluded. Beautiful windows look out onto the dunes and tips of waves. The owner was great to communicate and work with. The home is great--4 adults, an 11 year-old, 9 year old, 5 year and 15 months, and all were completely happy. The home is well stocked and appointed, they seem to have thought of everything.

Everything you need, including the beach!

Gina has setup this property to really make your stay easy and enjoyable. Everything you need is there and ready to go. Blenders to beach towels, all clearly labeled and easy to find. We were especially surprised with all of the coffee accessories. From pods, to bean grinders, drip and French press. What ever your style, you can make it. There are multiple thoughtful and personal additions to the house that really make for a great stay. The property is located in a gated community surrounded by dunes with lovely paths to the beach and paths to the club house. The gate staff are very friendly and made coming and going very easy. The house is an easy walk to the clubhouse that has different courts and outdoor games. The pool is open in the summer. And the hot tub was HOT and lovely. The clubhouse has a Sauna, but it was closed during our trip. The property is a short drive to local stores and shopping. Easy access for the basics. The surrounding areas are all farms, this makes it nice and quiet, and makes the fresh produce delicious. Make sure to visit the farm stands!! Yum. The drive to Monterey is easy and quick. The drive to Big Sur goes through Monterey, so plan for traffic. We all agreed that we would definitely want to stay here again and again.

Fantastic Beach House

The view - stupendous. This home has all you need to feel at home while on vacation. Kitchen very well stocked and beds super comfortable. Plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, etc. We were three senior couples and enjoyed all but one meal at the house. You don’t want to leave. The owner’s response to questions were addressed immediately. Highly Recommend.

Great Family Get Away Location

Wonderful, warm, comfortable place for a quiet, family getaway. Secluded and private (2 minute direct walkway to a quiet beach), but close enough to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and other amenities (1/2 hour to Monterey, Carmel). Tremendous ocean views from family/living room. Well furnished and equipped with just about anything and everything you can imagine you might need. Plus caring and highly responsive owners (there was a bottle of wine and apple cider, plus some Christmas ornaments that awaited us). Highly, highly recommend. Five stars.

What a wonderful place on the beach! The location is perfect, yet it was all the extra touches that made it even more memorable. We felt like welcome guests. We went out each day, and were so happy to come back to the house. None of us wanted to leave.

Steps away from the beach

Our stay was perfect for all four families. We had a perfect time together in Gina's home: the beach was clean and private; the pool and hot tub was in good condition; she has beach chairs, towels, toys, games, and even a welcoming bottle of wine and sparkling apple juice. We will come again!

Blissful Beach

We traveled with a group of ladies and 1 infant for a wonderful long weekend getaway. The location was perfect, just steps from the beach with almost no one else around. The home was beautifully decorated with ample supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms, laundry room, beach chairs/towels/toys/blankets along with the extra touches of a welcome bag/card/gift which we all enjoyed! The beds were very comfortable with options for type of pillow (feather/foam), bathroom toiletries and both room fans and space heaters (we didn't need the heat). The 'kids' room had books and toys as well. The view from the upper main suite was to die for. Loved watching the wild life. Very safe gated community. Places to see and do things were just a short drive away. Gina was the best host. Loved it all, thank you Gina!

Family reunion

House met our expectations, was as advertised, and provided an excellent home for getting together with our far-flung family. The younger ones enjoyed surfing in nearby Capitola, hiking, running and time on the beach. Home was clean and well furnished, especially the kitchen, which had all the utensils we needed. The host was easy to communicate with, and went all out to return an item we accidentally left.
