Escape to the Heart of Virginia Horse Country and welcome to The Whipper Inn at Winfall Farm, a one-of-a-kind farm stay in Virginia’s renowned horse country. Winfall is a 140 acre return to nature, connection, and simple joys. Stay at a charming, private authentic farmhouse just steps from barn and pasture, a pool for sunny days and sunset swims, tennis/pickleball court for fun family matches or friendly competition, private walking and horse trails through fields and woods, a pond for fishing.

We are conveniently located off of major roads yet set back for a peaceful serene farm stay.

Winfall is a 140 acre hay, cow, horse and chicken farm. We welcome you to experience the farm and enjoy staying in an authentic equestrian home.

Guest access:

The house will be unlocked upon arrival. A key to open the carport door will be available for use. Guests have access to the house and surrounding grounds; pool, tennis court and designated trails. The barn is only available if bringing horses and a separate barn rental agreement has been signed. There is one "owner's closet" which is locked to guests. We welcome guests to hike the property yet stay on marked trails and please do not climb the fences; use gates and obey the farm rule of open a gate, close a gate.

Other things to note:

The unique home has brick floors with different levels so beware of tripping hazards. There are two staircases; a traditional and spiral. We recommend due to the space of the spiral staircase that all luggage be taken up by the traditional staircase.
