Loved everything about our stay! The room was comfortable and spacious. It was nice to have breakfast included and had good options. The staff were so kind, and really made us feel welcomed. The pool is also amazing and well maintained.

Anne of Green Gables National Park within walking distance. Lovely old Inn built in 1942. Needs updating. Reliable WiFi. Clean throughout. Helpful staff. Room could use a chair to watch TV or use a laptop, and a small refrigerator. Some breakfast items were in short supply. Parking was free. Located next door to the Lost Anchor Seafood restaurant! Good value for money.

It was adequate. We had a poor night sleep because I was busy swatting 100s of gnats (tiny flies) in bathroom and bedroom. I wanted to call the front desk to see if they could do anything about it or better still change the room. There was no on at the front desk, so we stuck it out and went downstairs for an ok breakfast and we left.

We chose shinning waters because of its convenient location to the confederation trail, it had a breakfast. , and the price was decent. We were just off season so there was very few people. I think it would be a great spot for families in the summer.

This property was a surprise for how lovely it is. The room was large and well appointed. It seems that it was renovated recently. Very comfortable and spacious.The large jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise. The location is excellent for the Cavendish area, Parking is very convenient. Definitely recommend

The Inn was lovely. The room was large and comfortable, with a jetted tub. We didnt use the pool, but it looked inviting. The breakfast was excellent. The Inn is close the PEI National Park and the Anne of Green Gables Heritage site. Highly recommend.

Near everything. Asked for 2 extra pillows and gladly accommodated my request. With a heated pool also open until dusk. Definitely recommend if you are staying in Cavendish.

We stayed here for two nights while on holidays in August 2025. The location was great for us and very convenient. However, the room itself was quite outdated and small. The outlet near the head of the bed was blocked by the fixed headboard, which made charging devices difficult. The bathroom was very small as well, with little to no storage space. The carpet was quite old and wrinkled, which took away from the overall feel of the room. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of choices, which we appreciated. Overall, while the location and staff were excellent, the rooms would really benefit from some updates.

My adult daughter and I just spent a lovely August weekend here in the Inn’s King Suite. The suite itself was very comfortable. The Inn staff were really friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to many Ann of Green Gables sites and very close to the beach. It is also close to the road to other seaside towns. We had a wonderful time.

Brilliant location but inn is tired. It's not as pretty and antique inspired as it could be so instead of feeling romantic, it feels a bit sad and in need of a fave lift. Breakfast was poor compared with other places costing a similar price. Disappointed overall.
