We had a great time - the house was immaculate and well supplied and very comfortable. We enjoyed spending time in the back yard and in the cozy living room, and the beds were very comfortable. Also, the house is extremely pet friendly. Just two suggestions: the kitchen could use some hot mitts, and it would be nice to have a better supply of toilet paper. But overall we loved the house and had a wonderful time. Thank you!!!
Perfect spot for our family, especially our 2 dogs. Never heard any fireworks the entire week.
Beautiful location in the Redwoods and Cool in a very hot heat wave!
We arrived around 10 pm on the night of our check in. The house was 50° inside. There is no central heating unit, just a couple baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and some space heaters in the closet.
It would have great for someone to stop by earlier to warm the place a little. The space heaters would pop the breakers if we did anything major in the kitchen. So they are not the most ideal solution to have to deal with at a vacation rental. It would be nice to just have a thermostat on the wall with a mini split.
This is a spacious and well-appointed house. The hot-tub is nice and the view out back is nice. A few glitches - the electronic lock didn't work properly so we had to call the emergency number in the dark. Good thing was someone responded quickly and gave us a code that worked. Also, the space heating system was inadequate in the winter - portable heaters popped the breakers. Otherwise everything was fine.
House was prepared and instructions weâre clear for operating things. Definitely would go back. One thing I would say is the double doors to go outside, due to the cold weather, weâre very difficult to open and I would recommend fixing that so someone doesnât break those nice doors. Other than that, the place was excellent and we would go back again for sure. Great quiet, scenic place !
