I have stayed at the Waterfront Hotel over 20 times. This will be the last stay as soon as we arrived at the hotel, we parked the furthest You can possibly be from the entrance to drop off our child who is going to stay with their grandparent staff came out and told us that we couldn’t park there twice even after we explained we’re just transferring the baby. I had reservations for two rooms, both suites, and the second room, for my mother, wasn’t available until almost 2 hours after check-in. we were offered nothing in compensation, except extended checkout hours, which didn’t make any sense for us because we were leaving the next day on an early flight. And the toilet was leaking in our room. Terrible service all around. Steve Morris

The staff did a wonderful job for me, especially food and beverage team for the morning breakfast and room service. Would this be my first time in Cebu I was under a complete different impression of where this hotel was located. I feel tricked because it said waterfront Cebu hotel and Casino. The name should be a long way from the waterfront, Cebu hotel and Casino. I miss my plane out of the airport because you were so far from the airport and I was stuck in an hour worth of traffic just to go a little bit of miles. Very disappointed will not come back there because of this reason.

Very dated hotel. In severe need of updating. Especially the bathrooms. Service was awful. In room phone didn’t work. Asked 3-4 times to get it fixed. One time a guy showed up and said it was broken. Was there six days - never was fixed. Worst part was the WiFi. Very weak.

Check-in took one hour, all of which was spent standing at the counter. They gave no explanation beyond “we’re waiting on your room”. We then got a room different from what we reserved, two twin beds instead of one king. The bathtub was very dangerous. The bottom was curved all the way to the middle. There was nowhere flat to stand. The side was wide making it hard to get in and out without risk of slipping. The shower head was old and sprayed every which way. This is an old hotel that used to be fancy but isn’t anymore. At the breakfast buffet there were multiple dishes that didn’t get refilled the whole time we were there.
