Perfect Beach House

We had one of the best times of our annual cape visits. The location is perfect for walking to Craigville beach and the host provided beach chairs, wagon and towels. The house was very roomy for our family of 4 adults, including 3 bathrooms (2 en suite). The kitchen was well provisioned with cooking/dining needs. Dining areas in and out were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Already booked for next year! Thank you Maria.

Summer Cape vacation

We can't say enough nice things about this house and these hosts. We have kids and stayed there with a second family and it was just the right amount of room for us. The house is well set-up with enough space for even kids to stay in on rainy days, a very pleasant yard and deck, and the beach equipment and proximity to the beach (and ice cream) are unbeatable. The boys especially loved the kayak. The kitchen is really functional, which is key when cooking for a few families, and it was great to have cooking spices stocked for when we forgot to bring our own. The hosts are awesome and even mailed back a favorite hat that we accidentally left behind! But do remember to read the amenities list and BYO paper goods!

Charming getaway by the beach

We had a lovely time at this charming home by the beach. Four adults and two toddlers fit easily in the house and we were grateful for a bathroom for each pair of guests. Power went out on the first night (accident down the road) but was fixed by morning time. The house had all the essentials, but remotes need new batteries and a good frying pan and laundry basket would be good additions. Beach items in the shed were GREAT! Thanks for a nice vacation!

Pure Cape Experience

This is a terrific location for the quintessential Cape Cod experience. If access and proximity to the beach are your priorities, and you want all the qualities of a classic Cape house, this is your place. It brings back memories of my own family's Cape house when I was a child. Everything is provided to make your summer beach vacation one you will remember - from all the beach necessities like chairs, towels, sand toys, and a cart to help get you to the beach - to a lovely deck and grill, a stocked kitchen, and wonderful views. The house is cozy yet truly accommodating with three full bathrooms, which I find is rare for a house of this layout on the Cape that's so close to the beach ... including a master suite upstairs with its own bathroom, private porch, and walk-in closet. If you want a gourmet kitchen, new furnishings, and a high-end home for your vacation, this isn't your place. This is a beach house through and through. Centerville is also true to its name - it's centrally located on the Cape so it's easy to reach from the bridges and it's fairly easy to get to all other major points of interest. I also like Centerville because it's less touristy and filled with more locals who either live there year-round or are regular seasonal visitors. The hosts are very responsive and ensure the house is completely clean and ready for you upon arrival. We've stayed here two years in a row now and hope to continue this tradition!

This is our second year renting this home and it truly is a peaceful getaway ! Great views of the water and a 5 minute walk to the beach easy to come back for lunch . Close to restaurants and shopping of you prefer that to the beach 🏖 looking forward to next year 😊

Bright , comfortable beach house

From the moment we walked in the door we were met with a bright beautiful open room with views of so much beautiful nature! The home was beyond comfortable we have rented a lot of homes and this one flowed and was comfortable to share with my young adult and late teen children. Location is great the great beach a short walk away easy to come back for lunch and snacks. Close proximity to Hyannis and Osterville for restaurants and shops, cape cod mall is close for that “hopefully” occasional rainy day. The upstairs master was a nice retreat for us to have some privacy with a nice sitting area and small balcony on the back with views of the ocean! The house has more than you need as far as towels both beach and bath the laundry room has a large washer and dryer so no problem keeping up with that. The shed is full of all you need for the beach chairs, toys, umbrellas even games there are lounge chairs for the yard which is beautiful to sit out in the evenings . The host was super attentive and got back right away with any questions or problems! Can’t wait to spend a week next year by the sea at this property!!!

Great place at a great location

Great place to stay on our first family trip to Cape Cod, for a week. Great base for exploring all parts of the Cape - Provincetown, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket. Also a 5 minute walk from Craigvillle Beach, which we spent time at. Shed full of beach gears. Appreciated our host's fast response in general. We do a lot of cooking, so could have used more cookware, pots & pans, but a very small inconvenience for a really great place.

Lovely home, nice spot on the Cape

The house is lovely and the beach is blocks away - an easy walk. You are on the more busy side of the Cape but we enjoyed walking to get pizza and ice cream at the beach huts. I liked sitting and looking out at the little inlet that started a few doors down. You're very much in a neighborhood with neighbors close on both sides and and a big beach club across the marsh. The beach club had a fan/air conditioner? that ran 24/7 and annoyed my husband, but my kids and I weren't bothered as much. If you're planning on going to the beach, and out and about you couldn't ask for a better spot. If you are looking for a quiet, solitary time - you can get that but it's not gonna be the most you'll get :)

Needs some maintenance

We were unhappy with the condition of a few things: broken refrigerator door shelf and 2 missing fruit/vegetable and meat/cheese drawers missing and no ice maker. Broken dresser in twin bedroom which caused dresser to fall over twice. Very old tiny window a/c units with dirty filters. They didn’t work very well especially during this horrible heat wave. Had to manually reset electrical outlets in all bathrooms. Upstairs bathroom had no air circulation. Found a small fan downstairs and used it. Kitchen needs some new non-stick cookware. Overall cleanliness was not good. I moved the microwave out away from wall and found a bakery bag with something in it. Floors were dirty and there were hundreds of beetle-type bugs in kitchen window sill and bug traps on floors. Dining area ceiling light bulbs couldn’t be used as they created a “strobe” effect when turned on. We needed a first aid kit one evening as my husband had cut open his toe on the uneven concrete front step. There was no first aid emergency kit anywhere and it was too late in the evening to go out searching for one. I emailed the owner after our stay and explained these and a few other things to her. She said she would address each of the items. Otherwise, this would have been a nice place to stay. ⭐⭐

House was very nice and great spot close to beach and put in for kayak. Centerville didn’t have as much as we hoped to do. Did a lot of driving to Hyannis and other towns on cape for activities and dinner.

This was a great house , close to the beach and great for entertaining . My two suggestions would be ... a salad spinner added to the kitchen appliances and a home owners pass for the additional beaches for entry so there were more options besides Craigville beach . otherwise the house is perfect !!

Close to beach, plenty of space!

This house was perfect for our family of four, plus two friends who visited for a couple of days. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We didn't eat at a restaurant a single time! It's a 3 minute walk to the beach. The only suggestion I have is that you in spite of what it says in the description, there are plenty of towels and bed linens. I wish I had known that so I didn't take up a lot of space packing those things in luggage. DO bring toilet paper and paper towels though!

Beautiful home.

We had a wonderful week. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Just one block away from a gorgeous beach with life guards. Maria always responds quickly to any issue you may have. We have found our favorite house and will definitely rent again.

Excellent Beach Vacation

I stayed during the last week of June 2018. We stayed with my family (with two young kids) and my mom, who is not a beach person. The beach is very close and we walked there daily. It's maybe a three minute walk to the actual sand through the parking lot. The beach is huge and never feels crowded, even when there are a lot of people there. The house is very comfy and my mom basically sat in the big spacious "dining room" portion of the house surrounded by windows the entire stay. We all loved that room, with great breezes and nice views. I loved having two master bedrooms, but the upstairs master bedroom is awesome, and very private. Great for escaping to when my kids were being wild and needed some alone play time/down time downstairs. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great location and a nice house.

Perfect location. Wonderful for families!

We just got back from a wonderful week in Centerville. First and foremost- beautiful house. Amazing location. Not crowded. So much to do! Two blocks to the beach (no worries- the owner has everything you need! Beach buggy, sand toys, towels, and chairs. Bring your own umbrella!) Also. About 1/2 mile one way is a playground, penny candy store, and ice cream. 1/2 mile the other are food shacks with great food (and breakfast sandwiches you can eat on the beach!!!) Hyannis is 15 mins away for all your other needs. Super easy stay. Wonderful. Can’t wait to do it again.

Perfect location 300 steps from beach with warm water and clean sandbar for plenty of summer fun!

We had three couples plus one in this delightful location with lots to do and nothing to distract us from relaxing. The easy public access in the nearby inlet allowed us to really enjoy the two man kayaking experience for all: experienced and novists alike. All shopping and dining amenities are close by and wonderful. Saved money by eating in a few times by grilling ourselves with the freshest local ingredients.

Great location - great house

Our yearly vacation was once again a great success and we even had Indian summer and summer like weather to boot. The house is in a great location easy to get anywhere on the Cape and 1 block from the best beach - Craigville Beach. The house is very well equipped and maintained with everything you need included. The house has plenty of room and having the seperate Master Suite upstairs with ocean views and your own balcony is like having a getaway within the house. We will be back again next year.
