A Week on Manitoulin Island

Loved walking along the usually almost empty beach-- beautiful, sandy, with rocky area that was intriguing. Visited Misery Bay, Ojibwe Cultural Centre, some shops. Lots of relaxing, reading, cruising.

We were so impressed by the professionalism and care that the owners have taken. The property is well-maintained and clean, stocked with everything that we could imagine needing or wanting, and in an excellent location! Perfect summer getaway

An absolutely perfect week! The cottage is lovely and very well equipped and it was only a short walk to the gorgeous sandy beach which was never crowded while we were there. Our host Dean was quick to answer any questions we had and was very proactive with all the information needed for our stay. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

location is very good and walkable to beach area. Safe and quiet place. Bad part is to bring towel, bad sheet, pillow cover our own for this cottage stay. Dryer and washer is out of order in this property. Washroom water supply is not enough. er

Fabulous and relaxing time at this Providence Bay Cottage/

This was the first time for all of us to discover Manitoulin Isle. So close to Sudbury...a real gem. Owner, Dean stayed in ongoing communication regarding the opportunities, extra features (fire logs, bicycles, kayaks) but this cottage was full of delightful surprises. Outdoor toys and games; indoor games; fully resourced kitchen.(amazing) and room for 8-10 people easily. We were a group of four and each of us had our own bedroom. Just a short walk to the beach which is soft white and the water is so clear. Highly recommend this cottage. Restful, restorative and a great deal of fun. The great escape from daily life. Thanks, Dean.

Spacious Cottage

We stayed 1 night, but next time we hope to stay longer. Unfortunately it was raining all day, so we couldn't really enjoy sitting out on the property enjoying the silence and fresh air, nor the beach, maybe next time. Dean (the host) was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The layout of the cottage is excellent, with lots of space for a family. It has everything you need. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful cottage for a getaway

We had a marvelous stay at this cottage. It's very comfortable and the thoughtful furnishings made us feel instantly at home. The house is perfectly positioned to enjoy the beach. Everything was just as stated in the description and Dean was very responsive.
