This was the worst place I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t stay there! So they said they would refund me the $441 for the 3 nights I was going to stay and I left! Instead of refunding they charged me another $441! The couch was super old and falling apart. The light fixture for the kitchen was in the floor. The rugs were worn and dirty. The room and bathroom were not clean. The bedding was awful. I’d rather sleep in my truck than in that terrible place which is what I did! Beware

Clean room. Squishy feel floor. Old mildew smell in staircase going to room. Shelf in bathroom and patio door needed repairs. Light in bathroom flickered. Nice staff.

We needed a king size bed...they only had it on 2nd floor which we have a hard time going up the stairs. Had to settle for 2 bed queen which only one bed was used. Did not sleep comfortably.

This is an old fashioned drive up to the door motel with a gravel parking lot. There was no AC but none was needed in the mountains, even in August. It is minutes away from the Cumbres & Toltec train station. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cabin itself was fine. Dirty old dishes, coffee grounds from the last occupant still in coffee pot, WiFi never worked despite “it will be on in an hour” from staff. Shampoo and soap dispenser in shower both broken. Front desk staff said will bring soap to me… didn’t happen. Room didn’t have microwave, they brought me one. Didn’t work. Generous with two stars.

This motel would have been a great place back in the 1960s. Come 2025 a lot of upkeep and updating is needed. Our flooring felt like it was going to fall in, bathrooms needed to be updated. The room had an odor that you could not do away with. No air conditioning although we did have a big fan.. I have a hard time with the 8.4 rating on this property. If it had been refundable we would’ve declined.

Liked the clean room and the balcony. Loved the 3 lock system on the doors. Dislikes: the bed linens were not clean and the comforter was filthy. No AC, the dispensers in the shower did not work. Run down for the price. The part that takes the cake (from a professional electrician), is the power sketchy. Every time you try and use the microwave, the power dips really bad- a potential fire hazard! It was a really quiet place over all, lots of shade and didn't have to deal with barking dogs and loud neighbors.
