This property is situated on a hill with a stunning view across the Missouri River. The check-in was a little confusing as the man's command of the English language was limited. The room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated.

Had a very weird experience with doing the full check in with what appeared to be a school age child even after asking if there was not an adult to do so. What appeared to be the responsible adult appeared at the end and just nodded and smiled.

Nice location overlooking Missouri River which can be seen from a few rooms. Bathroom was clean, breakfast room clean, breakfast included sausage gravy and biscuits, waffle, cereal, yogurt. Room was musty (opened window to air out for awhile) and carpet could stand a thorough cleaning. Boy who checked us in was very pleasant.

I debated about going with the local mom and Pop Motel versus a chain like Wyndham, I should’ve gone with a mom and pop. Our only encounter with staff was a young teenage boy who checked us in and also came to our room to address a non-working refrigerator and a noisy guest across the hall. While he was mature for his age and kind, it is quite odd that a chain motel does not have an adult visible for guests. There is no elevator so not handicap accessible. The exterior doors do not lock which is a security issue. The area surrounding the motel is quite rundown with a homeless shelter, just behind the hotel. The air conditioner vents had mold on them. The room smelled of pets, but the bed was comfortable. This is our second Wyndham motel in the past two months and we will not be staying at this chain again.
