Disappointing
Overall, our experience was relatively disappointing. Among the positive elements, we should note the location, a few meters walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car and the center of Chamonix, therefore restaurants, cafes, bars or other services. The apartment also has basic amenities. As such, we do not lack anything. On a more negative note, as soon as we arrived, from outside the building itself, there was a jackhammer noise coming, we later discovered, from the apartment above ours. This work lasted two of the five days of our stay. We immediately informed the rental agency who cavalierly released themselves from any responsibility. Also, for at least three of the five nights of our stay, the neighbor downstairs played music very loudly until 4am. Also, the images in the ad are a little misleading because the apartment is much smaller than they suggest. It is obvious that we would not have rented this apartment having known about all these bad conditions.
