Villa Lofos /Seli is situated on a hill at Seli Perivolion at an altitude of 150m, just 6 km from the town of Chania with excellent climate and magnificent view. The villa is built on two floors with 4 large balconies (200sqm) with unobstructed view (amazing 360° panoramic views)..

Outside there is a large, private swimming pool. The pool can be HEATED by arrangement 4 days before your arrival, at a cost of 100 euros to start and 70 euros per day.

The villa is built on two floors connected by internal and external staircase. The ground floor is 200sqm and the first 110sqm. It consists of 5 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom, 3 bathrooms, two large single-spaced living-rooms and dining-rooms 45sqm and 40sqm respectively, a kitchen 20mÂČ and 4 large balconies (200sqm) wiith unobstructed view. On the southeastern side there is an outdoor private pool 4x10.5m. It also has private parking, a large lawn area, a mini volleyball course and a ping pong table. Our guests can use the barbecue and the wood oven upon request. The house always has plenty of hot water due to a combined solar and inverter system, as well as fancoil air-conditioners in all areas. There is free Wi-Fi Internet and an alarm system.

We are available any time for any question.

The villa enjoys a privileged position, as though it is very close to Chania town is surrounded by nature, in a calm and peaceful ecological environment, ideal for naturalistic walks and within easy reach of both the city and beaches. From the root of Seli hill lies the Villa begins the beautiful and majestic canyon Therissou in the opposite hill is the hill Kastellos with important archaeological.

‱The Monastery of Saint Kiriaki. Through a stone path of incomparable natural beauty and the hermitages of monks you will find yourselves in the largest and most imposing monastery of Jesus Christ. (If the ascent seems tiring, you can always do it reversely as there is also access to the monastery by car) The Monastery of St. Kiriaki is an old Glebe (archaic word for land which provided income) and a 17th century monument located in an area with a lovely forest, a small gorge which turns into a river in wintertime, cobbled paths and numerous stone steps which lead to many cavernous chapels. The reconstruction of the region and the monastery which took place between 1993-1996 sets an example-model of environmental revelation of the beauty of a place, keeping both the balance of the ecosystem, flora and fauna, and the emerging value of the forest and gorge through a walk of religious and historical recreation time for the visitor....
‱the largest waterpark in Chania called "Limnoupolis". It includes pools, slides, the "Black Hole", the "Crazy River", a restaurant, a bar, parking place etc. It is open from May to October. (1km)
‱the lake of Agia, a sanctuary for many species of birds. (2km)
‱Therisso Gorge which leads to the homonymous historic village where you will find many taverns with traditional food.(800m)
‱there is a four aisled church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Saint Irini, the Archangel Michael and Saint Charalambos with its famous "cold water" from natural springs running all year round and beautiful plane trees. These springs provided the water supply for the town of Chania for centuries ... (1km)
‱ the half-ruined stone bridge of the Venetian period that has survived right below the four aisled church of Ag. Charalambos is of remarkable beauty while the evergreen ivies of the river that flows in the area embrace it in a unique manner.
the "Botsounaria ' district with springs, a cistern, hundred-year-old plane trees, masonry remnants of a bygone glorious Venetian building, the ruins of an old cafe at times that “Boutsounaria” was a leisure attraction for several people from Chania ... To reach “Boutsounaria” visitors only have to go up the picturesque alleys of the Medieval and Byzantine settlement called Garypa and find themselves in the natural plateau of the Springs ... ‱ “Perivolia” village Central Square with a playground, “Electra’s” traditional tavern (very nice grilled mushrooms and fried potatoes), a neighbourhood called “Pyrgos” with “Tzika’s” small tavern (excellent ribs and steaks). Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour dans cette magnifique villa. Elle est trÚs bien conçue pour plusieurs familles, est trÚs pratique et agréable à vivre. La piscine et le jardin sont extras, on est au milieu des oliviers et la vue est top! L'accueil est parfait, avec beaucoup de petites attentions et de bonnes adresses. On recommande vivement!

Picturesque Getaway in the Hills

This property is exactly as advertised and was fantastic. We were a group of 9 with the occasional straggler who could easily spread out and relax. The hosts were absolutely amazing and responsive. Maria was away on business and helped us out ahead of our stay and then had Natasha and Manolis helping us out during our stay. I can't compliment Natasha and Manolis enough as they were a wealth of knowledge, always helpful, and readily responsive. The property was pristine and had more than enough space for our group. I would highly recommend for a group of friends, coworkers, or a family getaway. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. There were ample linens, towels, and such for the house. We had more than enough sleeping accommodations for everyone. And we did not have to fight over bathrooms at any time during our stay. The only hit on location was more on our end as we weren't prepared for taxiing to and from Chania as much as we did. With that caveat out of the way - the location is gorgeous. You're nestled in the hills of Crete surrounded by olive and citrus trees. You have an amazing panoramic view from the pool, decks, and really the whole property of the valleys to the west, mountains and monastery to the south, and Chania off to the northeast. Brunch on the deck was something I will not soon forget, and the sunsets were something you had to stop everyone in the house from what they were doing and just go enjoy. You are within walking distance to Chania, and it is an enjoyable walk through the hills and into the city, but you will have to allot maybe a couple hours until you're in the downtown area (that time was with a couple of detours to corner stores and coffee shops). Otherwise taxis are your friend and the Chania taxi service was prompt, though they did cancel on us once or twice and getting one from Chania back to the house takes some negotiating at times (anywhere from 15-50 euro). Overall, this is an amazing property with warm and fantastic hosts. It was an ideal place to stay for our first time in Crete and would stay at this property again without a doubt.

We booked with 12 teenagers this beautiful villa to have some fun after graduation. The house was super nice, clean and looked the same as in the photos. The pool and the roof terrace were awesome. But apart from the house the landlords were incredibly nice. They were so hospitable and supported us in everything we needed help. For example, they drove us to the beach or the supermarket because we didn't have a car. Overall, we had a dream vacation with the perfect house and the best landlords. Definitely recommended !

Perfekte Erholung in wunderschönem Anwesen

Wir waren 4 Familien und haben uns in der Villa sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Sie war - wie beschrieben- sehr gerĂ€umig, toll ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Villa wurde nach einer Woche komplett gereinigt. Der Blick nach Chania und in die Berge war wunderschön. Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben umgehend alle unsere Anfragen und WĂŒnsche beantwortet und alles getan, es möglich zu machen (bspw. haben wir ein ganzes Schwein gegrillt, welches sie fĂŒr uns organisiert hatten). Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefĂŒhlt. Jederzeit gerne wieder, uneingeschrĂ€nkt empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank an die ganze Familie!

Wonderful house in the hills

We stayed in the house for one week and had a perfect stay here! The house was tidy, well equipped and fulfilled all expectations. Amazing Private Property In the Hills Among the Olive Trees

The perfect rental for us. Jaw-dropping views with a modern, well-kept house. Our extended family, young and old, enjoyed the pool and yard. Beautiful and quiet, except for the sounds of the goats haha. Wonderful, attentive hosts. Stay here!
