Holiday in Crete

The property was ideal for us, it had a lovely pool and was well located near some excellent tavernas in the nearby village. There was also a small bar /hotel a short walk from us where we could go and have a drink. The owner was helpful and the community were very friendly, we would definitely go back

Lovely

Very nice property off the beaten path. We were a group of four, two couples. Split bedroom floor plan on upper floor with plenty of room on main floor. Yard is large and lush with the bonus of your own pool. Warning, front door locks automatically when shut so always have keys on your person.

The property itself was good but the big shock was having a derelict building site eye sore immediately next to the property. This has obviously been like this for some time given the state of things on the building site, and your photos and information did not mention this. The kitchen was also very lacking in equipment, even down to no trays for the oven, only a single rack to use and only 4 mugs, etc. We were very disappointed in this and look forward to your response

Overall it was good,a couple of negatives.free to air tv and wifi didn't work,the property manager was pleasant and managed to set up the wifi.No air con downstairs and the fan is too loud but overall it was a nice property and a pleasant experience.the pool was nice and the view is lovely. A little bit out of the way so a car is essential

Lovely villa

We had a lovely stay in the villa. It was as described, beautiful views and in a quiet location. Car is definitely needed. Two great tavernas near by.. Cretan corner was a fave of ours as they have a play house and kids toys in the outdoor area. Pool guy came frequently and was very friendly and pool was good temp. Maid came twice in our 10 day stay. Beds were comfortable, shower was always hot and good pressure. Good mini market down the road with most essentials A few things that may require improvements or things to be aware of with the villa
 1. Ants. Any food left out or even food left in bags which were sealed - we found trials and infestations of ants everyday. We weren’t left extra bin bags so had to purchase bin bags ourselves and then additional smaller bags to put any food we cooked/had left over in. 2. TV didn’t work and WiFi was poor 3. Tried to contact number provided for help with ant and wasp infestation but with no luck or communication 4. Aircon very loud and only upstairs. Fan downstairs was very powerful but very loud 5. No tools or coals available to use with BBQ 6. Baby chair straps were broken so really unsafe to use with our 8 month old 7. Not many pegs available to use with washing line 8. Bring some condiments with you if you can as none provided (salt,sugar,tea,coffee,etc) Overall great stay and great villa. Above are not negatives but things that could help improve the stay if corrected.

Villa trĂšs bien situĂ©e pour visiter l ouest de la crĂȘte Ă  15 min de voiture de Chania ( voiture et GPS indispensable pour trouver l emplacement de la maison) Villa propre avec un grand espace extĂ©rieur, magnifique vue sur la mer et la montagne, belle piscine, la literie est correct. Le petit point nĂ©gatif est le manque de rideaux occultants aux fenĂȘtres des chambres, du coup rĂ©veil matinal car se sont des volets ajourĂ©s ! Je recommande cette Villa.

Schöner Urlaub mit super Pool

Wir haben zwölf schöne Tage in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus liegt auf einem Berg in einem kleinen Dorf. Um das Haus herum sind noch andere FerienhĂ€user. Der nĂ€chste Minimarkt und die nĂ€chsten Tarvernen sind zu Fuß 10 Minuten entfernt. Das Haus liegt super gelegen fĂŒr AusflĂŒge nach Chania oder zum Strand (ca 10 min mit dem Auto). Ein Auto ist unserer Meinung auf jedenfall empfehlenswert um sich die Gegend anzuschauen, zum Einkaufen oder um zum Strand zufahren. Das Haus an sich ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat uns aber nicht besonders gestört. Das einzige Negative sind die sehr harten Matratze, die sollten Mal gewechselt und gegen weicher und bequeme ausgetauscht werden. Das Highlight an dem Haus ist der große saubere Pool. Der Pool ist super geeinigt und bei warmen Temperaturen ein echter Segen. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Meer. Wir können das Haus empfehlen und wĂŒrden nochmal da Urlaub machen.

Schönes Ferienhaus aber leicht abgewohnt

Wir hatten im Ferienhaus und Pool einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Das GebĂ€ude und Equipment ist allerdings nahe der Überalterung. Z.b. ToilettenspĂŒlung hĂ€ngt ab und zu (kein Wasser kommt ), Fliegengitter defekt...usw. war aber alles ok bis auf die Betten...die sind so unendlich hart das man meint man liegt auf nem holzbrett. Fazit, schönes Haus, schöner Pool, bißchen Renovierung und auf die Matratzen einen Topper drauf...dann gĂ€be es nichts zu bemĂ€ngeln.

My wife and I had an extremely enjoyable week at Villa Stratos which was in good order and extremely clean. The Villa is in a great position and has good views over Souda bay the swimming pool is at present not overlooked and is very private but we did notice a property is being built which will overlook the pool when completed. Lastly I would like to compliment Pierre and Jenny who look after the villas as their service was first class and made our stay most enjoyable.
