Designed in the early 1900s and influenced by the Olmsted tradition, Myers Park remains a stunning showcase of Charlotte’s heritage and charm.

It offers a rare, quiet intimacy that makes you feel miles away from the city, right in the heart of the neighborhood.

The Iconic Booty Loop: Join the locals on this legendary three-mile trail that winds through the heart of the neighborhood’s most stunning scenery. It is the city’s favorite spot for cycling and jogging, offering front-row views of majestic Tudor mansions and perfectly manicured gardens.

Food

The Neighborhood Deli: Laurel Market: A local legend known for high-quality carryout sandwiches and artisanal sides. It is the go-to spot for grabbing a gourmet lunch before a picnic at Freedom Park.

Morning Ritual: Summit Coffee: This airy, modern cafe is a community favorite for its ethically sourced beans and seasonal lattes.

Vibrant Vibes: Ru Ru’s Tacos & Tequila: Located in a historic Tuscan-style villa, this spot features a lively patio and a creative menu where every dish is named after a famous movie quote. It is a fantastic place for fresh margaritas and a fun, lighthearted dinner.

Date Night: Stagioni High-end Italian set in a stunning historic villa. It’s intimate, authentic, and features wood-fired pizzas served with specialty scissors.

The Wine Connoisseur: Bond Street Wines: This boutique shop offers a curated selection of unique finds from small-production vineyards. It is a hidden gem for wine lovers, featuring a relaxed counter where you can enjoy a glass with some light aperitivo snacks.

Groceries & Essentials

Trader Joe’s: Located less than a mile away, this iconic grocery stop is a guest favorite for its unique snacks, affordable wine selection, and ready-to-eat meals. It’s just a 3-minute drive to stock up on everything.

Outdoor Highlights

Freedom Park: Known as the "Central Park" of Charlotte, this 98-acre oasis features a scenic lakeside bandshell, sports fields, and winding walking trails. It is the ultimate spot for a weekend picnic or a sunset stroll, and your four-legged friends are more than welcome.

Latta Park: 31 acres of rolling hills, tennis courts, and shaded trails.

Carolina Thread Trail: Accessible via the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. A 15-minute walk takes you to the entrance of Freedom Park to access this massive regional trail network with over 30 miles of interconnected trails.

City & Stadium Access

Healthcare: Minutes from Atrium Health (CMC Main).

Sports & Entertainment: Easy access to Bank of America Stadium (Panthers & Charlotte FC), Spectrum Center (Hornets), and the Charlotte Convention Center.

Nearby Attractions

Mint Museum Randolph: Housed in a historic federal mint, this museum features an extensive collection of international art, ceramics, and fashion set within a peaceful park.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art: A stunning terra-cotta masterpiece that showcases mid-century modern works by icons like Picasso, Warhol, and Miró.

NASCAR Hall of Fame: An interactive, high-tech attraction that honors the history of racing with immersive simulators and legendary cars.

Blumenthal Performing Arts Center: The city’s premier cultural hub for world-class Broadway touring productions, concerts, and live theater.

Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary: A historic "urban wilderness" that offers a serene escape with beautiful bird habitats and lush, formal gardens.

Historic Significance

National Recognition: Myers Park was officially listed as a National Historic District in 1987. It is celebrated as one of the finest "planned suburbs" in the United States, preserving a century of Southern architectural elegance.

The Nolen Legacy: Designed by world-renowned landscape architect John Nolen, the neighborhood features winding, curvilinear streets that follow the natural topography.

The Feel

Refined Convenience: Enjoy a prestigious atmosphere that perfectly balances old-world Southern elegance with a modern, active energy just minutes from Uptown.

I love this building as a place to stay when we visit our son and his family. Great neighborhood, perfect layout for the 2 of us, great communication with the hosts. I missed the walk-in shower that is typical of the units but they brought us a bath mat as soon as I asked. We will definitely stay in this building every time we visit!
