Severe unhealthy black mold, disgusting carpets, unpleasant animal smell, broken fixtures and vanities. Experienced two room moves. Where is the health department!!!! Owner should be forced to sell and LaQuinta has now been brand shamed!

Staff was a bunch of kids. Had issues with my key card several times. Had to bring it down to be reset at the lobby. Rooms were clean but the mattress was old with a big dip in the middle. Common areas of the hotel are dingy and dirty. Pool was close because someone crapped in it. Would’ve been nice to have a discount for that because I planned on cooling off as it was 100 degrees outside that day. Will not be staying here again.

It was falling apart. Our bathroom has a leak. Curtains had cigarette burns. The hallway rugs were so disgusting. The staff were rude. Do not stay here.

The facility was badly in need of decorating/refurbishment. The walls needed to be painted and the carpets needed to be replaced. Everything in the open/communal areas was old, stained and needing replacement. The bedrooms were clean and the bathrooms were modern. The only thing wrong with the actual bedrooms was carpeting. Hotel is not being maintained in communal areas, but bedrooms are maintained well, but need new flooring. My biggest complaint is one member of staff who checked us in on our arrival. We arrived on June 18th in the afternoon and this lady at reception was just hostile. She was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. She was indifferent to our requests for simple things like more clothes hangers, a working hairdryer. We were very disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed...no apology. She was very abrupt and unhelpful and inefficient. To be greeted by someone so hostile actually made us feel unsafe there. We decided to leave. We stayed because other accomodation was not available and we were treated well by other staff the next morning. Unfortunately, we had a cockroach problem in our bedroom. Not unusual in hot climates, but dirty flooring isn't helping. This hotel has the potential to be really good. The beds and linen were spotless. The food was good. The rooms were modern and clean. General maintenance is a big issue: flooring and walls and furniture in communal areas. That receptionist needs to go!! More details available on request.

You get what you pay for

The carpets looked like they had been installed in the 1970’s and hadn’t been cleaned since. I asked for two rooms for two adults. The lady behind the desk told me I only had one room for two adults. However, in fairness, once I showed my receipt, she gave me a second room. The hotel room on itself wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better. Long story short: you get what you pay for here.

The carpet was very dingy and dirty. The lobby was very hot and humid. The lobby also smells like wet socks. Other guest seems to have been smoking in there room that I was able to smell it in the hallway.

The key holders did not work very well. I saw this problem with many other guests. Ice machine on my floor did not work I had to go to the first floor. House keeping would not bring me clean towels daily. And elevator near entrance did not work, everyone had to use the elevator down the long hallway that was the only elevator that was working.

Our bedroom was very clean. Good size room and en-suite. Beds were very comfortable. Surprisingly good breakfast. All the public areas were very poor standard. Very dirty carpets. General neglected look. We were EXTREMELY disappointed having a pool outside that we could not use. They said it was closed because of a delayed inspection from some government agency. I’m not entirely sure if that was the case because it had already been closed for “a long time” and we stayed 6 days and there was no sign of any progress. Cheap accommodation so I suppose we can’t complain too much.
