Clean and quiet. Poor pillows

Room was clean, quiet, bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were dreadful. Ok if you sleep on your side but if you sleep on your front like me, far too thick and unforgiving. Ended up discarding it and sleeping without. Also, the shower was badly designed, warer leaked all over the floor, but someone else had to clear that up!

The area was very convenient for our needs - near the train station and near restaurants and in walking distance of the cathedral. The room was clean although the hallways were not as clean as they could have been.

Great find, will certainly book again when in the area, clean and tidy, fresh appearance, staff very friendly, room clean and comfortable, location first class, right in the centre of town, but not noisy.

The first room we were given was an attic room with the toilet right next to the bed. We asked to change and we’re given a better room on the ground floor. Staff on reception were not particularly friendly.

Absolutely perfect location for exploring Chartres. Very close to the cathedral and train station. Felt safe where it was. Enough of a selection at breakfast although the one member of staff was rushed off her feet trying to keep up with demand.

Good hotel, no hairdryer in the room and the pillows were incredibly high.... Left me with a painful neck (but that may just be me). Parking is excellent and secure. Breakfast is small, chaotic (only member of staff refilling) but good. Overall good value for money and would stay again.

Excellent Chartre hotel

This was a one night stay as part of a trip. The hotel was really nice for budget price, plus it was in walking distance from the Cathedral and centre. Room was quite large and bed very comfy, nice bedding. All rooms here have showers but the bathrooms are modern and clean. Only downside was that parking was chargable, which i didnt think was mentioned on booking online, but it was safe and secure through gated access so i wasn't too bothered. Overall really nice stay.

Great location and parking - very basic room, hair dryer did not work, shower flooded as the tray was too shallow. Given a downstairs room next to the outdoor seating area we had to keep the curtains shut added to the downgraded feel of the room. It was ok for one night.
