With no neighboring properties, expansive panoramic terraces, and breathtaking views of the surrounding Alpine peaks, this authentic 1890 “Heidi-style” chalet offers an idyllic mountain escape in every season—whether as a serene summer retreat or a cozy winter ski base.

The Chalet

Set amidst pristine nature above the charming cheese-making village of L’Etivaz, Le Chalet du Ciel offers total privacy and tranquility. Surrounded by forests, fields, and majestic mountains, the chalet provides a unique opportunity to experience traditional Swiss Alpine life with modern luxury.

Summer:
In summer, the property is surrounded by lush pastures and pine forests, with countless hiking trails at your doorstep. The chalet overlooks a working dairy farm, producing some of Switzerland’s finest cheeses. You’ll be serenaded by the gentle sound of cowbells as you relax in the sun.

Winter:
In winter, the chalet becomes a peaceful snowy sanctuary. The nearest ski slopes are just a six-minute drive away, with access to over 200 km of pistes open from late October to early May. After a day on the slopes, return to the warmth and stillness of your private Alpine haven.

Chalet Butler Fee: CHF 150 per night, payable locally at the end of your stay. This fee is mandatory and not included in the booking cost. Payment by credit card is accepted.



Fondue Experience
Enjoy a traditional Champagne Fondue or Raclette Night hosted in our authentic Cheese Room. Our Chalet Manager will prepare a decadent local meal featuring regional cheeses and Champagne for just CHF 95 per person.

In winter, the access road is maintained daily by the local commune. A private 300-meter driveway leads to the chalet, further ensuring complete seclusion. This property is ideal for those seeking an exclusive, peaceful Alpine retreat with authentic character and five-star comfort.

Le Chalet du Ciel is a peaceful retreat. To preserve the serenity of the environment, we strictly prohibit parties and loud music after 9 PM. Sound carries across the mountains, and we respect the quiet lifestyle of nearby farmers.

Unauthorized Events: A penalty of CHF 6000 will apply for unauthorized parties or disturbances, and the booking may be terminated without refund.

Private Events: Events may be arranged during the winter season upon approval. A supplemental fee of CHF 3000 to CHF 6000 will be applied depending on the scope of the event.
