The Space:

Set at the end of a quiet road, this comfortable family home is an ideal setting for a classic Cape Cod getaway. With Ridgevale Beach just a five-minute walk away and only a short drive to downtown Chatham or Harwich Port, the location makes it easy to enjoy the best of the Lower Cape.



The main level features a bright, open floor plan designed for easy vacation living. Two separate living areas provide space to spread out, while the well-equipped kitchen and dining area open directly to a large deck overlooking Buck’s Creek. It’s an ideal spot for barbecuing, enjoying creek views, and watching the sunset at the end of the day. A first-floor bedroom with a twin daybed and trundle with an en suite full bathroom offers added convenience and flexibility.



Upstairs, the second floor offers three additional bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed and access to a second-story deck with sweeping views—perfect for morning coffee or quiet evenings. Two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, are also on this level, along with a full bathroom, completing the second floor.

Beach House in Chatham

We would definitely rent this property again. It was clean, spacious and comfortable with nice views from both decks A very short walk, just down the street, to the beach. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked and is conveniently located with a short drive into Chatham.

The views from this home are gorgeous and it’s very convenient to the beach. Kitchen could have been stocked better, with a few more staples. Freezer has no ice maker and only one ice tray. Great places to walk dogs!

Perfect Base for Extended Family

We were looking to stay in the Ridgevale Beach neighborhood, as our family had rented various cottages there many (many) years ago! We were so happy that the neighborhood and beach has maintained its charm and beauty. It was so special to find a house to comfortably accommodate my mom, my husband and preschooler and me, and my two brothers and their wives. Having 2 showers plus outdoor shower also super helpful for large group. Having a tub in one of the bathrooms was great for our child, and the house and property felt fairly safe for a (supervised, of course) curious and adventurous three year-old. The house is a bit shabbier on the exterior than photos show, but that didn't matter to us. If you're planning to do some cooking, bring your own salt, pepper, oil, and spices, or reach out to Del Mar and ask if they've acquired, as there was very little for our visit. We loved the spaciousness of the house, the charm, the 2 decks, and the fact that there is a washer and dryer on premises. Would definitely consider returning. Thank you!

Gorgeous location

A perfect location overlooking an inlet just down the street from Ridgevale Beach. Loved sitting on the upper deck in the evenings and looking out towards the ocean. The house was roomy, and comfortable. It was a wonderful week on the cape.

Great location close to the beach

The property was clean and very well prepared upon our arrival, and the house boasts beautiful views of the cove extending beyond Ridgevale Beach. It's just a short walk to the beach—the last street before the parking lot, in fact—and you get the benefit of an ocean breeze in the bedrooms. The Del Mar property management team is very professional and makes the process seamless and easy to follow. We will be back!

Great option for Chatham!

We reserved this property for some friends and family as part of a group gathering. The location is really nice and the views can't be beat! The communication and check in process (and check out) were really simple - which makes a vacation so much more enjoyable. The variety of sleeping options made our trip easier as we had the flexibility we needed too! The house was immaculate clean, stocked with sheets and towels, and the views from the back are a great place to relax. If you are traveling with friends or family this location is a great option!

Beautiful location with scenic Chatham views

The view is all you need to know about this property. With a large deck off the main living room and a second floor balcony off the master bedroom, everything is articulated towards a sweeping view of the inlet off Ridgevale Beach. The property is within walking distance of Ridgevale, which is a great beach for families and young children thanks to the dunes and little inlets that provide for shallow swimming, catching fish with nets, and building sandcastles. The property itself is well maintained, albeit somewhat dated in style. The outdoor shower and touches of coastal decor complete the Chatham beach vacation experience.

Short walk to Ridgevale

Had a great stay at this home for labor day weekend. The house is older, but was clean and well cared for. Wish there was better lighting in the kitchen and tv room, but we were there for the beach and it was a very quick walk to get to Ridgevale. The marsh views from both decks are beautiful!
