I am a frequent traveler. I found this hotel to be simply mediocre. What they call "breakfast" is a joke, unless all you want to eat is waffles. The owners are pinching every penny. I'm serious - decent tea bags are not that much more expensive than Walmart brand, people. They use powdered mix for their "gravy". A bag of white bread - still in the bag - for you folks! No other bread offered! No fruit, no yogurt - although they have a fridge that could utilize - and two kinds of dried cereal. Some sort of warmed circle eggs and frozen biscuits heated up. The rooms have been modernized with a rain shower head, but there is so little water coming out a regular shower will take you twice as long as it normally would. How this place gets any 5 star ratings is beyond me.

There was a language barrier upon check in. Soft spoken clerk did not talk loudly enough or clear enough for me to hear with hearing aids. Had to have him repeat everything several times each. Friendly and helpful just frustrating. Took 15 min to check in.

Annoying behavior

Our stay was great. Very affordable. Stayed on our way to Florida Only one complaint and it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Someone was outside our room reving their truck with no muffler for an hour starting at 1130pm the police came and he finally to left the property.

Great stay for just two nights. Hotel was very clean and nice. The curtains and bed linens could use an update. Very quiet area, lots of budget friendly food options near by. Bed was comfortable and everything smelled nice. I wouldn't want to stay a week here, but fantastic option for a low budget weekend stay.

Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room/bed was comfortable. There is a bit of road noise (not unusual with most hotels in the area) but overall it wasn't bad. There are plenty of dining choices nearby as well. I will stay here again the next time I visit my family in the area.

A little disappointed.

This 2nd stay wasn’t as good as the first. The first time I stayed on the 2nd floor, it was quiet and clean and comfortable. The 2nd stay was on the first floor facing a Cracker Barrel. It was noisey the room was not as clean, there was a dead roach smashed in the corner of the bathroom and left there. The beds were more worn and the walls scuffed and dirty. Someone kept trying to come in the room through the night. I woke up several times with someone trying to open the door. I am a traveling nurse, I didn’t feel safe with that happening so many times. The staff is always nice, but probably won’t stay there again.
