Hotel is gorgeous. Staff were very thoughtful and kind. Tour of the haunted room 311 was fantastic. The history and beauty of this hotel are simply outstanding. Our steak dinner was delicious as well. Not one complaint. I would highly recommend The Read House.

Nice historic hotel in great location

It was a very pleasant stay. The common areas are modern and updated. The bathtub in our room more represented the age of this historic hotel but it worked and was clean. The gardens outside our window were stunning and the location was perfect for us to walk to our restaurant and around the area. Check in was smooth and the valet and doormen were very friendly and welcoming.
