It in centre of chester its nice but no veiws ares was a brickwall.breakfast ok not much options could update it .nice room again out dated my tea making facilitied in wardrobe only one chair in room and ours a twin .

Hotel staff friendly enough however hotel looks like it’s not been hoovered in years. Room full of black long hairs from someone else before. Fan didn’t work unbelievably hot room. Didn’t sleep a wink nor did my wife or the children. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Would not recommend.

We requested a quiet room! and had one nearest to night-club ,which was still going at 6 AM very loud music, room and facilities very tired, property needs a refit. All windows broken / stuck closed AC very ineffective would not stay here again.

No room at the inn.

Upon booking the same day, with plenty of availability, arrived to the only room left in the hotel, upon checking into the room it was not serviced from the previous occupants. Was told I’ll get a refund sent on my way, not what I wanted to hear at 11 o’clock at night absolutely appalling service. From a short amount I saw of the hotel it appears they have made a little progress from the last time I stayed here. Don’t waste your money. Go stay at a proper hotel..

Lovely hotel , perfectly situated in the city centre. Clean and tidy but some features in the rooms need attention, such as bathroom grouting and blown bath panel . The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was fine on Saturday with table service, although the portions were a bit light . But the Sunday was somewhat shambolic with unlaid tables , people queuing and food running out, the girls serving tried but it needed better organisation. That said , we would stay here again, hoping that the minor issues would be resolved

Tired, dated and disgusting carpets

The rooms were very tired and the carpet was disgusting with stains everywhere. The room was boiling and the shower would only produce scalding hot water. I have stayed here previously but it has really gone down hill, I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel building was historic but nice. No fans in the room, area around hotel was noisy lots of people yelling and swearing at all hours. The breakfast buffet on the Sunday was empty when we got there.

Just ok

The price was good for a Sunday night stay. The room was in need of some TLC. The air con unit wasn't sufficient and in recent temperatures we didn't sleep at all. The room was like an oven.

This is an old hotel entrance looks quite grand and in good proximity to the town centre. Room - we had had a king size bed which was comfortable but the room was very tired. Lots of stains on the carpet and furniture. It was warm weather but both windows were sealed for “our safety “. They had air conditioning but not much good. Bathroom - the toilet didn’t flush very well and we were told they would make a note but nothing done while we were there lots of black mould around fitting needed a good scrub and dent in the bath tub filled in. Breakfast finished early 9am and wasn’t the best. Staff appeared pleasant and friendly but don’t think we would return.

Poor cleanliness

The Hotel location is great. However the room was very poor. It was dirty with cobwebs and dust. The carpet was badly stained. The usb sockets (2) for I phone charging did not work. Some staff are friendly, others not so. Very hit and miss as to who you deal with. Will not return.
